Where to start with this monstrosity. Booked a night for my birthday yesterday, got there to check in & upon arrival there was a sad incident happening on the valley bridge that thankfully ended up in no casualties. However a female “staff” member was sharing their very insensitive opinions on the matter to other hotel guests saying this person was wasting resources and could be helping someone who actually needs help. Like this person wasn’t standing on the outer edge of the bridge, so that was absolutely disgusting to overhear. This was our first red flag. Anyway, we got to our room and things were alright. UNTIL I wanted to have a shower. The shower trap was absolutely filthy and the smell from it was horrendous! to add to that, water started
pouring out from the ceiling onto plug sockets where my partner’s phone was plugged into. So they changed us rooms. This new one wasn’t much better. The mattress protector had what looked like poo stains & other questionable stains. The room also stunk of stale smoke. Just wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. The only thing that was decent was the male receptionist upon arriving and helping change rooms. Would advise avoiding this place at all costs.

Terrible hotel. Took an hour to queue to check in. Surely a better system needs putting in place. Dirty, smelly. Room didn't even have a window. Shower head was broken and sprayed water all over. Very dated and in need of modernization.

Location gteat. No guarantee of car parking space outside hotel but fairly large drop off area. Car spaces outside hotel are free from 6pm to 9am, pay and display at other times. I'd checked in online but still had to wait in a long queue on arrival to collect key. Room had no windows, it was advertised as well ventilated but it wasn't, it was so hot, far too hot to sleep. Only toiletries provided were a soap dispenser. The shower was great. Room was small but just enough space. TV signal was awful. Tea and coffee provided and extra supplies available in reception. Views over the sea were lovely. Great terrace to sit outside.

Very poor facilities, the floor, bed, and windows were all very old. The bathroom door couldn't close properly. The hairdryer made strange noises when turned on, followed by a burning smell. The soundproofing was terrible, I could clearly hear people talking outside the room. There was no air conditioning, only a fan. Not sure if it was due to the burning smell from the hairdryer, but the smoke detector went off twice.

Lovely clean room - helpful reception staff - upgraded to room with window. We booked for one night to attend a funeral in area and where so impressed we are planning to attend there again for holiday break. Lovely hotel!

Room not completely clean. Beds uncomfy, 1 pillow only, rock hard, had a smell coming from it, so had to cover it with my tshirt!
Two different seagulls nesting on our window sill. Very cute to look at but was constant noise from them the minute we got in our room, and an awful smell from them as we needed windows open as it was so warm. And by about 4am the noise from those and every other seagull around got even louder and louder and more annoying. So between the uncomfortable lumpy bed & the seagulls we got no sleep.
Luckily was a lovely sunny morning, so we were out of our smelly, boiling hot, noisy room and down on the beautiful beach at 7am.
Gutted to pay such a lot of money for this hotel. Would never stay there again.
