Excellent location and a stunning view from our room ( 117 ) however the hotel and room are extremely dated and desperately need attention, they are clean enough for a 3 star hotel....suspect it will take a lot of investment to carry out this modernisation...alltold it was a pleasant stay and should concentrate on the budget market.

Shame on Shearing holidays for sending their customers to this hotel.Room 204 was awful, plaster falling of the bathroom window,taps vibrating and making a very loud sound whenever used, and generally feeling very aged and grubby and icky.I could say the view was lovely from the window but their was so much bird mess on them!... Food was bland and felt microwaved and processed, the fish came up and looked very rectangular from the box..There were 2 sittings we were 6pm and I did hear a couple being advised that as they had come down at 6.50 they had run out of dinners and would have to wait for the next sitting!.We had to fill in a menu choice in the morning for the evening meal for each table,thou this didn't stop the servers wandering around shouting out "soup"., and at one stage my husband said that he would have the particular meal "if you want to take it of your hands".We stuck to cereal and toast in the morning as it was a bit of a bun fight for hot food and wasn't worth it.The very young staff did their best and were polite.We also had a fire alarm go off at 5am we heard people in the corridor but we just went back to sleep, nothing mentioned from the hotel in the morning thou mentioned alot by the guests. Faulty Towers.Shearings you must do better.

Location is very picturesque, gorgeous views over the coastline. Situated at the top of a very steep hill however. All amenities are a 10 minute walk away. Hotel very dated. Paint pealing on the outside and in. Although our room was a good size and generally clean, there were cobwebs and the paint was coming off the walls, especially in bathroom. The tv reception in room was also not great. However the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel could do with a major update and redecoration.

We had a gorgeous view of the bay and the room was clean enough although dated and tired. The mattress was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on, it was rock solid! Parking was non-existent, even with a disc there wasn't a single spot in any of the surrounding streets and after abandoning my partner and the bags, it took me 30 minutes to find a spot. Wouldn't stay again due to the parking alone.

This hotel has BED BUGS!!! Checked in after 5pm, staff seemed really nice but the hotel is run down. I was making the best of a bad situation until I got into bed and felt very itchy, then I noticed a bug on the blanket which led me to have a closer look, crawling with bed bugs. Checked out around midnight, didn't even stay 1 night.
