Serenity Guest House

Lovely new modern refurbished room 9 with lovely bathroom with Huge shower. Host was great to make our stay comfortable. Quite hotel with convenient in front of hotel parking.

Lovely hotel,clean and bathroom look modern.everything you need in room,will definitely stay there again if ever I’m in erea minutes from beach and in the heart of town

A wonderful guest house with a lovely friendly host, Steve was welcoming & gave us details of the history of the building - we were allowed to check in early, & arrange a parking permit on arrival. Room was immaculate cosy, clean & lovely sea views even had a smart tv, which was a nice surprise. Breakfasts were excellent by Steve & served by two lovely staff. Close to beach, tramway, bars & restaurants it is the perfect spot. We would like to stay again, & I’m looking forward to reading the book (which can be purchased at the property) of its history. Just a lovely 🥰 place, you won’t find better. Thank you for a lovely stay Steve. Xxx

Friendly staff , good English breakfast but vegetarian option disappointing. Sea view rooms were small and views were restricted (could see a bit of sea between two buildings) and were not the rooms shown on the website ( Rooms 2 and 6). No room for bedside tables, bed very close to the window and no net curtain. Parking was not available near the hotel and was more expensive than stated on the website.

Steve was a brilliant host

Lovely staff they are really helpful 😊 Decent place to stay if you're going to Scarborough. Was a bit cold in the room and there wasn't alot of plugs, we had a sea view and rooms spacious. Breakfast was a great location is great too for sea front ir bars . Thanks

Very good clean and great service and location brilliant service brilliant breakfast can’t recommend it more bedroom really nice and staff and owner very accommodating we have gone to Scarborough many years and have not noticed this place before wish we had!

Booked this hotel last minute and did not read the reviews before hand, I am glad I did not as I do not think they are a true reflection on this hotel. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman who’s name I forgot to take! Who made us a coffee and very kindly brought it up to our room. He was so friendly and apologised for some plaster that you could see on the wall which he explained to my partner was from the recent storm. The room was extremely clean and welcoming, we chose the sea view room and was no disappointed. The only thing that spoilt our stay, and this is no reflection on the hotel, was the scaffold workers outside of our room banging around and shouting at such an early time on a Sunday morning. Would not hesitate to stay again it was perfect for what we needed. Can highly recommend

We stayed at the serenity guest house for two nights,what can I say,probably one of the nicest places we have visited & we come to Scarborough lots,everything was lovely,the owner was very attentive & even asked us if we wanted buckets & spades for the beach,the room was lovely,homely & very clean,everything is there what you need,the guest house is decorated beautifully & everything is how you would want,the location is amazing right on the heart of south bay,would we stay again,most definitely,we will definitely make a return trip,thanks for everything x we stayed 23-25th august ⚓️
