The location is great. It has a private entry to the beach so you don't need to walk a long distance to go to the beach. In addition, you won't find any hotel with breakfast in that area and this hotel has a great option which is a shared kitchen where you can prepare a light breakfast. This is an awesome option.
The staff was kind and friendly. I felt like a family.
There were two thing I didn't like. There was no recycle bin.
On the other hand, rooms had carpet instead of wood floors and those carpets smells a bit. The location close to the beach might cause that smell. I will suggest to change those carpets.
If you want to get rest and you don't want to go to the center quite often, this place will fit your needs.

Just OK
The rooms were clean but the motel is older and a little run down. The owners were a little cranky at times but overall not bad. Beds were hard and the showers weren't great. I’m 5”9’ and o had to bend down to get my head wet. Overall it was just ok but I doubt I would stay again.

I arrived at the Holiday House Inn on Tuesday, September 3rd, for 3 nights. My room was in the front facing the ocean and the beach. The room had many windows on two sides which made it appealing. Check-in was friendly and easy. The Inn is beautiful and is situated in a former large home. It’s beach front with sand dunes in front and beautiful views. From my room (New Years Room - H2), you could hear ocean waves and see sunrises which made it nice. In the morning, you could also just walk to the house dining room from 8 am for a nice small breakfast with muffins, toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, etc. It was especially pleasant as you could also enjoy a beach view while having breakfast The room was comfortable with a one large bed made out of two smaller ones put side to side. It had a warm inn type decor but needed just a few renovations. The room was made up each day and was very clean. The Inn in nicely situated in Pine Point and is convenient. It’s on a quiet part of the beach. You can choose where to enjoy the beach and I would move to a place with the clearest water as there was a bit of seaweed in spots. The Holiday House Inn is close to the Portland Head Light, Two Lights and other attractions or beaches that are further north or south. I would visit them at the end of the day, at around 5 pm. I want to thank Mary for a great stay, good advice, and a friendly welcome. This inn is a great vacation choice to really enjoy the ocean and Maine. Going in early September was also a good idea, with lots of sunshine, comfortable temperatures, and more availability.

This was a very relaxing stay. It is right on the beach. There is not a coffeepot in every room or a hairdryer, but they have cable TV. We brought our own coffeepot and hairdryer and we were fine,There is also a kitchen available if you just bring your own coffee, and pots and pans for cooking in the motel section as well. If you are looking for a quiet place, with a clean room, hot shower, and right on a quiet beach, this is it. Very close to major attractions and good food. We will be returning!
