Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

I experienced exceptional service from everyone. Special mention for Padmaja - who, despite the delay caused by our Spa appointment running late, showed such grace, and ***** with her team, braved the winter to serve my dad and me at the special dinner by the amphitheater.

What an amazing experience the hotel created for us. It was my wife’s birthday and prior to arriving they had already planned on making her trip memorable. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we experienced an amazing warmth that you enjoy in India. Ratna and her team were simply amazing - the staff were kind and knowledgeable and caring. I fell ill during my visit (something i ate before i arrived at the hotel) and the concern shown was so kind. I was offered so much help and care. The staff and chefs went to amazing lengths to make sure i ate well and got better. Highly recommend this property and we saw 5 tigers!!!

Amazing!!
Staff brought coffee and prepared for the bubble bath at 3 am as I had to be working all night. Food, service and everything is beyond description.

best Ranthambore experience
After spending 3 nights in Raj vilas our expectation in Vanyavilas was quite high
when we arrived there Ratna personally greeted us and did the indian prayer ritual for me and my family
even though we arrived early she made sure that there was no hiccups in the check in and also provided hot breakfast to us
The staff took care of small things like hot water bags by the bed if you are feeling cold
they packed ponchos snacks tea and coffee for the tiger safari even without our asking
the staff was so so kind specially

Very warm hospitality, GM Ms Mehrotra and Chef, Adarsh were very accommodating and expressed a keen and genuine desire to make sure that our stay at Oberoi Vanyavilas went above and beyond. We were fortunate to view a family of tigers during our stay which was the icing on the cake.

What a lovely place to stay. Only 25 tented rooms (soon to be 28) in 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Super comfortable large rooms. Delicious food. And lovely staff - special mention to Atul who was brilliantly attentive in the restaurant.

Tiger spotting is the main reason to go to the Ranthambhore area. Stay at this resort if you want to do this the easy and relaxing way. The surprise was the luxury tent accommodation. The tents are very relaxing. I suspect the airconditioned tents are sound proof. I was surprised at how restful the stay at Vanyavilas was, I spent a lot of time at the resort resting and reading in our accommodation. We booked the tiger safari (Jungle drive). It is suggested that you book more than one. We booked just one as we left it only one month out but it is better to book the Jungle drive at least 3 months out and book multiples. We only went on one morning Jungle drive but were very lucky and had a 30 minutes tiger sighting. The Oberoi provides all you need for the safari and have access to some of the best guides and drivers (take a little bit of cash if you want to tip the driver and guide if you spot a tiger. Not expected but a nice thing to do). You are picked up at the resort and go straight to the park. I also booked the sundowner at the observation tower experience which was very good as it was in the cooler months. The hotel is a little bit smaller than other resorts but the service, food and housekeeping is the typical 5 star Oberoi.
