Ranthambore Bagh Palace

As part of the golden triangle tour this hotel was the one if the best Rooms well appointed ,the bed was comfy and food great .pool also a very welcome break in our travels The staff were very attentive and the food was great Could not fault the location x

The experience was lovely here-everything organised well, good food, lovely swimming pool area and evening entertainment and a good night sleep too. Also organised a birthday suprise for husband. Good organisation around the tiger safari too as they drop you off here and take you there directly. Lovely stay - enjoyed that one!

We were transferred to this accommodation unexpectedly and how lucky were we! From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more welcoming and attentive, not to mention Charly the hotel doggy. Rooms were spotlessly clean, modern and spacious. Lovely showers after dusty game drives in the park. Pool was really relaxing and refreshing. Fab afternoon tea. Lunches and dinners were always a delight, lots of choice of local dishes and endless supplies of hot, fresh naan bread. We would highly recommend. Ideally located for gates 1-5 into Ranthambore National Park.

I just finished a great 2-night stay and had a great time. The hotel just re-opened after an extensive renovation last month, so everything looks/feels pretty new an shiny. There is still some work in progress though, with some rooms not yet finished (you can hear construction during the day) and some public areas by the pool that are still under construction. Some things like a hole in the wall or non-matching outlets and a little leak are evidence that the final touches are not quite there yet, but those didn't make much of a difference for the stay. This hotel is located a little outside of the main town, and also just a little bit off the main road in Ranthambore, which makes it great for some more peace and quiet. However, that means that safari vehicles will generally not pick up here (unless you have a private vehicle). It is very close to the Ganesh Dam gate entrance, less than 5 mins away, where you can get picked up for Zones 1-5. The hotel will be happy to call you a taxi/tuktuk if you don't already have one arranged. It was built to accommodate tour groups, which is both a pro and a con, because it means they handle food safety/cleanliness to Western standards, but it can get crowded when the hotel is full and everyone is having their meals at the same time. Interestingly, breakfast does not start until after people have left for the morning safaris (which leave around 6-6:15 am), but it lasts long enough that you can have breakfast after the safari. It was nice they didn't rush to remove food at 10:30 like some other hotels, perhaps recongizing the variability in returns from safaris. This is a bit nitpicky, but the bed sheets were thin and there was no mattress pad on the very soft mattress, so you could see the mattress through the bed sheets and you'd sink in when getting into bed. The blankets/pillows/towels were very comfortable/clean and in great shape. Shower had good water pressure and the bath amenities were of good quality. I had booked a package that included all meals, which I normally don't do, but given the schedule of safaris and inconvenience of finding food in the town, it was the best option. The food was quite good and had a reasonable variety of mostly Indian and some Western foods. As is common in India, the food was mostly veg, and there would be 1 meat curry per meal. The menu changes every meal, though similar ingredients/bases are used. Overall i highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ranthambore.

This hotel is THE BEST IN TOWN. Excelent hospitaly in wanderful rooms with plunge pool inside the rooms with very big bathrooms and comfortable beds. Very big pool, indian rajasthani folk cultural program every night. Everywhere very clean and all the Staff very very much friendly, helpful and professional. Excelent, delicious food prepared with high quality products. You have to choose this very wonderful hotel also for the location very near to the entrance of the Ranthambore National Park.

Clean room and avg food. Although all food items are not good as expected. Pasta and malai kofta was not so good. Matar mushroom, paneer, gataa was good.
