the hotel is quite clean,although the room has no windows but it is still comfortable,the air conditioner is cold,the bathroom is clean,the amenities are not bad,the only downside is noisy,not soundproof,but this is a hotel worth the money. The location is a village, but near convenience store and atm.

Staying at Shangri-La Surabaya was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was warm and professional — every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of.
The room was spacious, clean, and elegantly furnished with a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. I especially appreciated the plush bedding and thoughtful amenities. The view from the room was also a plus, offering a peaceful cityscape that felt relaxing after a long day.
Breakfast was a highlight — the variety was impressive, from local Indonesian favorites to Western and Asian dishes. The pool area and lush garden surroundings made it easy to forget you were in the middle of a busy city.
Location-wise, it's conveniently close to malls, restaurants, and main roads, yet the hotel itself feels like a serene escape.
Would definitely recommend Shangri-La Surabaya to anyone looking for a five-star experience with genuine hospitality.

When I got here the wifi was off and the water in the bathroom was stagnant because the water pipe was clogged and dirty and had to be opened before the water could flow, the service was better
