Bar Vitelli Charming Suites

We've just completed our 3 night stay at Bar Vitelli Carming Suites. It was lovely. We wanted somewhere in a quiet location between visits to Catania and Palermo. We chose this accommodation because of the connection to the Godfather Movie. It's right in the center of Sovoca. Although Sovoca was busy with people milling around during the day, it still had a relaxed vibe about it. And, in the evening it quietened down considerably. We were given a room at the back of the hotel with french doors that opened onto a small balcony. The views were amazing. We looked across open countryside with Mt Enta in the background. Our room, our bathroom, and the public areas in the boutique hotel were beautifully furnished and beautifully finished with quality fittings, fabrics, etc. We had breakfast in Bar Vitelli (next to the famous seat). Freshly baked croissants, pastries, water and coffees. I'm sure we could have mixed it up a bit had we asked. The hotel has a small swimming pool which was great as we had it to ourselves a couple of afternoons. The owner, office manager, and other staff were all friendly, efficient and helpful. We used trains and taxis, but I think there is a bus that goes from S Teresa to Sovoca.
