The room is small, with only a single sofa, and the bathroom facilities are old, which is understandable in an old house in the historical district. There is a private parking lot for the hotel, the breakfast is not bad, and the location is very good. The riverside is across the road, and there are various bars and restaurants around, which is very convenient. It is also easy to walk to the square. Overall satisfied.

It is better than the domestic Samsung in that the bedding and towels are white and clean, and you can ask for them at any time, but there is no room service after 10 o'clock, so you have to throw out the garbage and change the garbage bags. Dirty towels should also be placed in the linen basket at the door. When you come back at night, go to the lobby to get the towels. The hot water coffee in the lobby has always been provided free of charge, and the disposable paper cups are of good quality. The lobby bar has enough space to sit and enjoy and watch the passers-by outside. The free breakfast is also ok. There are eggs and bacon, bread, coffee, juice, yogurt, cereal. Nutritious enough. It was the young lady at the front desk who charged us by mistake on the day of check-in, and it was canceled five days after we came back. We stayed for three days, and we couldn't open the door if we didn't take the card to the front desk to update it every day. The room is a bit cramped, especially with a kitchen. The bathroom has a sewer smell, which is almost the same as that of Samsung in China. In addition, the room rate booked through Ctrip was more than 2,000 per day. If you stay for one more day, you can call the hotel directly, and the price is less than 1,400. It can only be said that Savannah deserves to be the number one leisure city, air tickets and hotel prices are too high. Facilities: average Hygiene: General Environment: OK, very close to the river, convenient for travel Service: Fair, basic needs can be met.

We have always stayed at the Staybridge on our Savannah trips. The location is ideal. However the rooms and lobby floors are in need of a renovation, and a huge bug was in our room! Gave me the creeps. The breakfast buffet has also declined, not like years past. The hotel is pet friendly and parking not too bad. All and all for the money it’s acceptable.

Double beds were uncomfortable and tiny for a 5'3" woman and 6'2" man (not overweight). Hotel was clean enough. Entry floors were sticky a lot and smelled a little funny. Location was excellent hence the 4 stars vs 3. They had socials a few nights where free wine/beer + appetizers which was neat.

We were there on Mother's day weekend to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday and to celebrate Mother's day. It was a small gathering and a guest complained while we setting up a cake and present table in the downstairs area. Tina was on duty and she guided us to an area we could set up in private. She went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Tina! We have to call out Trina and Jamica for making us feel special and like family during our stay. You ladies rock! Thank you so much for your southern hospitality. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Nice comfortable hotel in a good location. Able to walk to many sites and restaurants within the historic district. The breakfast included was not to my liking but everything else was pretty good. We stayed in the interior rooms to avoid some of the street noise listed in other reviews but in hindsight that wasn’t needed.

I spent 4 nights here attending the Savannah Book Festival. I feel IHG can do better. 1) Some of the front desk staff could be mistaken for junkyard workers or streetwalkers—very poor in appearance and presentation for people who are at work and greeting people at a hotel's front desk. 2) The bathtub needs a good scrubbing with some Ajax—it was totally black, looked incredibly dirty and unsightly. 3) I requested a quiet room—I was placed in a room on the first floor right on noisy Bay St. where there's nonstop traffic going by at all hours of the night! The first night, cars woke me up at 3AM—thank God I had brought earplugs along, otherwise I would've needed a different room for sure! 4) Surely they can put a suitcase stand/bench in the room? There's plenty of space either at the foot of the bed, or next to the nightstand; otherwise it has to be placed on the bed or down on the floor, which is very inconvenient. On the positive side—the room is spacious, and the breakfast was decent (although the scrambled eggs didn't look very appetizing. They looked like they came out of a box or something).

We stayed at the Staybridge Suites for our annual Girls' Trip. I had no idea what to expect having never been to Savannah before. I relied on google maps completely to judge location and reviews. We were very happy with this choice. While the hotel itself does not seem bright and modern, it is far from tired and old. The only things really in need of a facelift would be the shower/toilet area... maybe a prettier palette or some decor? Some of the things worth noting here are that the beds were sooooo comfortable and they provide a ton of pillows, LABELLED firm and soft. The inside of the room was clean and had shutters for window coverings. You really can't make the room pitch black but I was fine with that. Some of the things to know when staying here, however, is that we were facing the street / river. There is a lot of road noise at night. Not busy but LOUD. Lots of trucks because, after all, it is an active shipping area. And the ships go by, which is cool to watch. This comment would go for any hotel along Bay Street so it isn't necessarily a negative for Staybridge. One important note is that our room was CRAMPED. Not necessarily tiny but there was a full kitchen (which was lovely and convenient) but with two double beds, it was hard for the three of us to maneuver around getting to the bathroom at night. One bed was about a foot away from the wall and really hard to get out of on that side. I absolutely regret picking that room. I would have gone with the 1 bedroom suite had I known. The rooms are all 306 sq feet but maybe the layout would be different. DEFINITELY a great room if you only have ONE bed. We did have the corner room so we had beautiful windows on two sides of the room. The hotel staff working the kitchen / bar / breakfast area were absolutely wonderful. This hotel has a cocktail party (FREE WINE AND BEER AND SNACKS) every Mon Tues and Wed evenings. Conveniently we were there Mon Tues and Wed! LOL! It makes the stay all the more fun and it is nice meeting others from various parts of the country. Any other comments I have are strictly situational to us but overall this was a MORE than satisfactory hotel. The rate was AMAZING and the location was perfect. That said, I would probably only re-book this hotel again if it was less than the Holiday Inn or Hampton Inns that are literally next door. All three hotels are in a very desirable area for walking. Oh, and it includes BREAKFAST DAILY! Gotta love that!
