The James Leonard House with Pool!

Stayed here in May for a girl's trip (3 of us). Great location, short walking distance to the grocery store and Forsyth Park. It is about a mile to walk to the main area of town.The house is a bit quirky but fit our needs. The front bedroom is quite large and has a king bed. The living area had a couch and two chairs (one turned into a twin size pull out- and I have to say it was comfy- and this is coming from a 49yr old, not a kid). There is a 1/2 bath off the kitchen. The second bedroom is at the back of the house and that is also how you get to the main bathroom (with the only shower) and the outdoors. My two friends said the beds were not that comfortable and possible need updated mattresses. The house itself is older (1823) and could use some repairs. In the kitchen part of the ceiling is drooping down, the microwave above the stove does not work- but there is a microwave on the counter. I had to look under the bed for my ChapStick that rolled under it (floors slope a bit) and it was very dirty/dusty. The baseboards had layers of dust on them. With a good cleaning it would shine! Now the best part-outdoors! Your own private balcony with a table and four chairs. The shared space has lounge chairs, picnic table with umbrella and a wonderful pool. It is the perfect place to relax. While I was outside, I met the "pool guy" who did a great job of cleaning it (and keeping it clean) from the storm that came through the previous week. Would I stay here again, yes!

Girls vacay This was a quaint stay with lots of character. Only thing would be the bathroom could use a little work. The cover to the jetted tub kept falling off

Nice Vrbo! Home was nice and it’s in a great location for walking and seeing the area. It’s also a close driving distance to other great attractions! Although we did not use the pool, it’s very nice and well maintained… great space for just relaxing!

Great location The property was great, just as described, perfect location. The only issue we had was trouble getting connected to wifi, as the login information provided by the owner was incorrect, and it took some searching to find the correct information.

Location Very good location, near Forsyth Park, walking distance or near the free shuttle bus. The pool was awsome! No warm water in the shower (or it took long time to get it. Over all we were very satisfied.

Girls Trip We stayed here for our girls trip to Savannah and it was perfect. Plenty of space for all four of us, nice large kitchen, and we loved having the pool out back. In my opinion it is the perfect distance from downtown, close enough to walk but far enough away that you don't have to deal with the traffic or difficulty finding parking. Having the Kroger right next door was also super convenient. Definitely would stay here again.
