Northlander is a clean, quiet motel with a friendly staff. It is located near a Starbucks and several bar/restaurants which were perfect for our needs. From our location we were able to quickly reach nature hikes or art galleries, and the locks of course.

Need staff to service customers with politeness
The check in was ok. The staff had a wee bit of a chip on her shoulder. The first thing she said was your card was decline. And i told her that on the phone when she called me the day before. From that i assumed that she tried to get the payment before the day of arrival. It was suppose to be pay at the property. Anyway the room was very nice. Very good wifi so i was able to go through some things with my boss with no problems.
