I feel lucky that we’re 30 minutes from the track and that the Motel 6 is pretty clean in the big scheme of things. We have four nights here to be at the races 40 minutes north of here. The room looks clean and it appears to be comfortable there were no towels, but she brought them right up.

I wasn’t expecting much but when we entered the room, the towels weren’t in the wall rack but strewn around the room, and the TV wouldn’t turn on. When I asked if I could get another room, I was told they were full—and she handed me two fresh towels and a different TV remote (with no back cover—the batteries showing). What I thought was some sort of stain on the toilet seat wiped off with toilet paper. When the new remote didn’t work, it turned out the TV was just unplugged—but I had to crawl under the desk to figure that out. I would go elsewhere, but everything in the area is booked. We don’t mind the occasional Motel Six, but I’d skip this one.

Below Standard.
Check in was good and check out. But Room was low on everything Toilet Paper, hand soap, No shampoo or conditioner. The Pillows were absolutely awful very small no filling. Went and ask for pillows desk said that's all they have. The worst hotel I ever had.

Although the price is nice and they allow pets to stay at a great rate, the linens were dirty and the water from the sink and in the toilet bowl was tinged yellow. Also the room and the hallways all smelled STRONGLY of cooked food, probably from the staff staying there. I thank them for the room but I don't recommend staying here in this current condition.

Electric sockets are too old to keep plugs in, need replacement . Tv single is weak. Key card had to be reswiped every day to gain access to building and room

Walked in and there was an overwhelming smell of spicy food. The smell was so overwhelming, it penetrated to the second floor and hallways. There was an inch gap from the floor to the bottom of my room door which allowed the smell to come into the room. I had to open the windows in 10 degree temperatures to clear the smell. The thermostat was iffy. This is my second stay. The first visit was fine. This second was not
