Satsuma Resort Hotel

The hotel had a golf course, and the golf course could be seen from the window. It seemed to be frequented by golfers and foreign tourists. The hot spring was spacious and very impressive. I thought it was stylish that the handles of the comb and toothbrush in the amenities were made of bamboo.

I visited for 4 nights and 5 days to play golf, but the golf course itself was nice, but the greens were a mess. The greens have more dirt than bunkers… You don’t need to think about putting speed. They never roll. The view of the golf course is nice. It would be great if they managed it properly… I’m very disappointed. The hotel was supposedly renovated… It was clean, but there were so many spiders and bugs in the room that it was a war with bugs from the first night. When I called the front desk, they sprayed insecticide, caught a few bugs, and left… And they kept crawling on the ceiling, and they couldn’t change the room… They sprayed mosquito repellent and bug repellent every day, but they couldn’t ventilate. When I opened the window, there were no screens, so bugs came in again… On the second day, I was so dizzy from the bug repellent that I couldn’t even open my eyes. I saw fewer bugs from the third day, but there were always one or two every day until the day I came. Room 312 needs to be disinfected or something to get rid of the bugs in the hotel… My friends in the next room said they had one or two in their room. I think they also need to install a screen on the terrace. The hot springs weren’t bad and the pool was clean, but I don’t want to go there again because of the bugs.

I was looking at the weather for the holidays, so I made a reservation just before. The pool opened the day before, and it seems that both junior high school children and husbands enjoyed it. Dinner was a course meal that came each time, so the conversation was slow and delicious. After that, the three of us played amateur billiards and had a great time. The view from the room is also in front of the golf course, so the feeling of spaciousness is the best. My children are grown up, and on the other hand, the hot springs are not enough, so there are golf (I don't go around the course, but there are times when I keep hitting.), tennis, table tennis, a pool, and karaoke, so it's a hotel that can be enjoyed by all generations.

I visited in June. The hotel was crowded with golfers. The hotel rooms were clean, the staff were kind and polite, and the food was delicious with a wide selection on the menu. The hotel is located deep in the mountains, but I was able to spend some relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Next time I'd like to try golf. Thank you for a fun time.
