宿は、敷地内に戸建の棟が立ち並ぶ、棟ずつがそれぞれ部屋となったヴィラ・スタイルです。 食事は、食事棟におもむき夕朝頂きます。 誰にも邪魔されず、完全におこもりスタイルです。 各室内には、温泉湧いており24時間好きな時間「湯浴(あ)み」を楽しみことが出来ます。 HPからの申し込みのため、ワンドリンクの付帯サービスがありました。 赤ワインをチョイスしました。 料理にもフランス料理なら、アミューズブーシュ(amuse bouche)、日本料理なら「座付き」突き出しをご用意して頂きました。 水イカのオイル焼きです。 赤ワインとのマリアージュは、喧嘩もせずよかった。

かねてから行きたかった宿。ようやく訪問できました。新幹線で出水駅到着後、バスで最寄りの停留所で降りたら、スタッフの方が迎えに来てくださっていました。道中、紫尾温泉の歴史などを話しているとお宿へ。お宿全体が里山のような趣に感嘆の声をあげました。全８室露天風呂付で離れに似たようなお部屋でした。山奥のお宿ですが、アメニティは揃っており、こもれる宿という感じです。姉妹館の紫尾荘の大浴場に入れるということでしたので、利用しました。お部屋は露天風呂も含めコンパクトでしたが、かえって気軽に温泉に入ろうという気になり、６回も入浴しました。お湯はとろっとした感じです。 そして何よりも良かったのが、夕食です。正直、期待していませんでしたが、料理長の創意工夫あふれたお料理、最高でした。地元のシマアジのお刺身、アボガド田楽などなどおいしいだけでなく、楽しめたお食事でした。そして驚いたのが、デザートの「ネパールスナック」スタッフの方でネパール出身の方がいらっしゃるということで、発案なさったとのことでした。ありきたりのデザートではないところにおもてなしの心意気を感じました。地元の焼酎もリーズナブルでお料理にあいました。朝食は洋食・和食とチョイスできるので、主人は洋食、私は和食をオーダーしました。食事会場も個室なので、プライベート感が楽しめます。 チェックアウトが１１時というのがありがたいです。私たちが鹿児島市内に行くということで、宮之城まで送ってくださいました。時間の制約はありますが、空港や新幹線を利用し、バスで行けるロケーションです。紫尾庵に泊まるためだけに、来られるお客様もいらっしゃるとのことでした。 GWにも関わらず、１人２万５千円台の宿泊料金はコスパが良いと思います。次回は紫尾庵に泊まるためだけに、鹿児島に訪れたいです。
