We checked into the hotel on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, for five (5) days ending on October 22nd, 2024. We booked two (2) rooms to accommodate three to four (3/4) people. We write this on Monday evening, October 21st, because at no time in our stay thus far have we had any housekeeping staff enter our rooms for anything. No refreshment of towels, no garbage removed, no beds made and no replenishment of any supplies like toiletries or bathroom tissue. Absolutely nothing. We had to ask for toilet paper and fresh towels on Saturday, October 19th. I explained to the front desk staff that we hadn’t had any housekeeping AND STILL, nothing happened. We were ignored. Garbage from multiple rooms, consisting of delivery bags from food services, was left in the hall on our floor for three (3) days before being removed. And even worse, my colleague went downstairs on Saturday morning and saw people sleeping in the hallways on the second floor. Where is Security and why are people allowed to sleep in the hallways? Does your hotel guests’ safety mean nothing? “Disgusting” would be an understatement for this location. We called Choice Hotel Customer Service to complain, and they indicated that they would contact the hotel management. We heard nothing from management at the hotel, as we suspected would happen because it is obvious that they got their money and no longer care. This hotel is a disgrace to the hotel industry and should be put on notice for all customers to stay as far away as possible. The only way the hospitality industry can survive is if customers speak up when a hotel property doesn’t meet expectations.
