Kings lodge is a lovely place to stay, there's a pool if you want it however we were too busy going on Safari. The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable, the service staff were very friendly and helpful. The wildlife sightings were great thanks to skills of Raju our naturalist we were very lucky, especially seeing a herd of wildlife elephants 🐘 which was very exciting as well as tigers. We will definitely go back next year.

Nestled amidst the lush forest, King's lodge offers a much-needed tranquil retreat where nature and comfort coexist. We woke up to the melody of birds, set out on exhilarating jungle safaris to spot majestic tigers, and unwound with breathtaking sunsets over the forest canopy. The staff, manager and naturalists of the lodge are lovely people and one can easily strike up a conversation with them.. The warm hospitality guarantees my desire to return for another stay.

Ravi and his entire team run a very professional show. We had a wonderful time. The room and bathroom was very comfortable and well appointed. The food served was well curated. We had a diabetic in our group and the chef and management made sure that low carb diet was served to this person. Extreme care was displayed to ensure a good and healthy meal. We took three safaris. We were blessed to enjoy tiger and leopard sightings on each of the game drives besides seeing the other animals like, deer, sambar, bison, elephants, jackals, bears, wild boars and a variety of birds. The naturalist Raju assigned to us made exceptional efforts to make sure our sightings were successful.

In June this year, I spent four nights at Kings Lodge whilst on a tiger safari tour in Bandhavgarh. I could not have asked for a better base from which to explore the national park! My room was extremely comfortable, the food was delicious (both the Indian and "global" menus, as they call it) and, not surprisingly, the staff treated me like a king :) I can highly recommend Kings Lodge for anyone visiting Bandhavgarh!

Stayed here with family in April 2025. Outstanding experience as always…this is our 3rd trip to the property. Rooms have received a bit of a refresh…which makes them pop and get a more luxe feel. Meals are very good, especially the Indian. Western can be up and down. Service remains superlative and staff are very efficient and friendly. Safaris and airport drop managed seamlessly. Pricing VFM could be a little better. But i think in terms of price/quality + safari mgmt, the Kings Lodge cant be beat in Bandhavgarh. Will return here again, for sure.

My husband and I thought this to be the place to try and fulfil the dream of seeing a tiger in the wild. Our experience was flawless from start to finish. Sangeeta, during the booking process, took my enquiry and shaped it, with her care and experience, into a superb package aimed at fulfilling our dream. The lodge itself was very comfortable indeed, the staff. without exception, were warm, professional and treated each guest as special. The food was amazing and the chef seemed to effortlessly cater to varying international palates with charm and culinary skill. There was an endless supply of cookies! The drives into the park were really informative and our naturalist, Pradhyumna, was superb with an in-depth knowledge of animal behaviour and a great sense of humour to occupy the times waiting for a tiger to stir. We were lucky to see 10 tigers, including a Mum and 3 cubs and chanced upon an Indian leopard too. I wouldn't hesitate for one moment to recommend a stay at Kings Lodge - exceptional!

The stay at the lodge was absolutely perfect and I look forward to returning. Loved the vegetable garden. Grateful for having Mandar as a guide - he is very knowledgeable and had a wonderful kind personality. Delicious food and a beautiful space. For future visitors, please have the home-made coconut ice cream! Thank you.
