Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica

Room was clean, modern, comfortable. Service was really wonderful and enhanced our stay here - it makes such a difference when people are nice to you when you are away from home. There were plenty of excellent food choices for us (one of us being a vegetarian). The hotel has a "normal" side with bars and poolside music, as well as a "quiet" side near the spa without the music...so it was good to have the choice of vibe to sit in. Altogether its a really well run hotel: one we were pleased to have stayed in and one we would definitely return to.

Pros: excellent service, beautiful setting, luxurious and semi-private bungalow-style accommodations, tasty drinks, Adrian at the pool/beach bar, and fun entertainment team. Cons: with the exception of the teppanyaki-style dinner and pool/beach bar menu, the food was not up to par for a resort of this caliber. Desserts were underwhelming and tasted stale and dry; and the notes and special instructions for room service order were never followed properly.

The hotel is closed to airport 20 - 30 mins away. And all the services are great , they have spa message which is great!

The best vacation I've ever been to. 10/10 on every single area. Amazing room, service, and experience. Arrival and Check-In Our special check-in was seamless, welcoming, and tailored to our needs. The staff made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. Accommodations The preferred rooms are exceptionally posh, with plush furnishings, elegant décor, and every modern convenience you could ask for. Waking up here felt like a dream. Preferred Lounge Experience The bartenders in the preferred lounge are masters of their craft. Each cocktail was a work of art, perfectly balanced and served with impeccable flair. It became our favorite spot to unwind. Dining Every meal delighted the senses. The menu offered creative twists on classic dishes, and the flavors were consistently spot-on. Dining here felt special every time. Views and Atmosphere From sunrise coffee to evening stargazing, the views were nothing short of breathtaking. Panoramic vistas through floor-to-ceiling windows made relaxation effortless. Conclusion We had such a relaxing time—no complaints whatsoever. This was pure indulgence, and we can’t wait to return.
