Very satisfied, the room is traditional European style, the mattress is super comfortable. The restaurant on the first floor is exquisite and delicious. There is a small shop opposite, where a scoop of ice cream costs 2.99 and it’s so delicious.

We've stayed at The Inn at Saratoga twice and were completely satisfied each time. Check in (by real human beings!) was easy, and information was provided to us by staff at that time about the morning breakfast buffets, bar hours, etc. There was a nice bowl of homemade mints at the desk that were delicious! (And they still provide REAL room keys!) We stayed two nights in a very large, carpeted room that had two comfortable double (Victorian) beds, large windows, a desk, and a sitting area with two leather club chairs. The bathroom fixtures, etc. are a little outdated, but clean. In the morning, the $10 each breakfast buffet in the charming downstairs dining area (complete with Victorian furniture, books, and a fireplace) included eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, yogurt, pastries, bagels, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice. Everything you might want. In the evenings there's a delightful, cozy bar, also downstairs, where live music was being played when we returned from our night out. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the downtown Saratoga *****, and close to the racetrack, spas, park, etc. What this hotel is is "homey" and comfortable. There's a chill, friendly vibe here. There was a wedding party there the weekend we stayed and you would never have known it. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. This is not a super "fancy" place ... it's a little bit shabby chic in a way that makes it absolutely charming. Someday I'd like to splurge and stay at the Uber-expensive Adelphi up the street, but for now, the Inn at Saratoga is a great little home away from home. Don't change a thing!

Not sure how it has so many great reviews. Extremely run down. It is an historic building but most recent renovations were likely from the 1980s or before. Our room had stained very old carpet, broken furniture, window A/C was many decades old. I was prepared to tell front desk upon checkout that I wasn't happy but they never asked.

The best two things about this hotel is the location (walking distance to restaurants and stores) and the warm and friendly staff. The room itself needed some help - drapes didn’t work well or were not hanging right on the windows, some furniture had clearly seen better days. Areas in the hall and near the elevator need painting. If you are going to have a 19th century bed (which was comfortable), you should have a little step stool to be able to get in it. A little more attention to detail would make a big difference here. We were here for Skidmore activities so we didn’t eat here though there was a lot of activity in the bar and restaurant.

This historical inn has great potential, however, updates need to be made. It is old, carpeting is worn and torn on the edges, furniture in our room was old and torn at the seams, wallpaper was ripped/peeling, stains on the comforter, windows were old and we could hear EVERYTHING that was happening outside. On our last day there was no hot water in the building. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great, only a 5 minute walk into town. I believe the owners are relying on the location, and just not caring for or maintaining the property, unfortunately. We would not stay there again, and do not recommend it.

We stayed one night over Easter weekend. We had two standard King rooms for my family. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean with new carpeting. The property and the furnishing certainly have some wear but consider it a part of the experience. We very much enjoyed the bar, restaurant & breakfast (the pastries were excellent). The location is also great right on Broadway and a very short walk into town and the shops. If you are looking for a Ritz/ StR experience this is not for you, but if you want to have an easy going stay give it a try. PS. they have 3 ChargePoint fee based EV charges right next to the property.

Staff was very nice and helpful in getting around the city. The quaintness was special but could use some upgrades. All in all very nice experience.

What a comfortable hotel, the ambiance of this wonderful hotel is unique. The beds were so comfortable and the room so clean. Lovely bar with great music on certain nights of the week. The dinner menu provides for a cross section of tastes, my preference/recommendation is Hanna’s Brisket flavours in aboundance. Look forward to coming back.

No Hot Water Our first morning, we awoke to no hot water! Reportedly, both of their water heaters failed on the same day, although I suspect that 1 of them had already failed and they had neglected to repair it, based on the general condition of the property. It does not appear to be well maintained. One of the finials on the curtain rod in our room was held on with blue painters tape. They offered us a free breakfast for having no hot water, but we already had breakfast plans elsewhere. Either way, that was insufficient compensation. Hot water was not available until later that afternoon. The bed was kind of saggy, and overall the hotel looked tired. I won’t stay here again.
