Lively little night city
Good bar downstairs.
The deposit you pay to reception upon checking-in takes ages to be returned to your bank account though

I’m a Marriott member and we travel a lot within and outside the states. The ambiance is good but staffs & facilities sucks. Alternate days house cleaning and when they do clean, not the beds only clean towels and take the trash. Beats the purpose of staying in a hotel. Don’t even bother with their breakfast. We always book room with breakfast included since we have a toddler but this hotel has 4 items on their menu and that’s it. Nothing fresh made either. And lastly we also had bad experience with the people next door to us. If my toddler cried, they would bang the door and scream from next door. I guess she doesn’t have any kids so doesn’t know toddler tantrums. But she’s could have asked to get her room changed. Every night she banged ♀️ Never staying at any Aloft hotels Ever! Felt like a Motel.

Haven’t slept that good in a long time. Big comfortable bed with crisp, clean sheets and many fluffy pillows. A great city hotel with all the good vibes. Took advantage of the fresh coffee and free help yourself soft serve ice cream machine :-)

We had our kids stay at the Aloft Sarasota for a recent family wedding, and it was a fantastic experience all around. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern, just what they needed to relax and recharge between the festivities. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and the whole stay stress-free—which, let’s be honest, is a big win during a wedding weekend! They loved hanging out by the rooftop pool—such a fun spot to chill during the day with great views and a cool vibe. The location is perfect—an easy walk to tons of shops, restaurants, and Sarasota hot spots. Whether you're in town for an event or just looking for a solid hotel with a great atmosphere, we’d definitely recommend Aloft Sarasota.
