We had a group of 12 visiting C.R. for a week. The hotel did a fantastic job pre-arrival with clear communication and very quick email responses. When we arrived, everything was exactly as planned. Throughout the visit the staff at the hotel was friendly and accommodating. We had every breakfast there and 3 dinners. The food is great and reasonably priced. When you arrive, the hotel does look a little surprising- the pictures look as if it is in a nature preserve, however, the hotel is actually right on the main street in town. This ended up being perfect. We could easily walk to the grocery and amazing bakery - but the hotel grounds really do seem like you are in a preserve. We had a beautiful owl right outside our patio the entire trip. The monkey's came by everyday and you didn't hear any sounds of ”town”. The rooms were good size with a large shower and air conditioning. There is a TV in the room but we never watched it- there was too much going on outside to stay in the room!! If you are looking for a well priced, comfortable, convenient and interesting hotel- this is your place!
