It was a nice experience in the cottages for a two nights and two days trip there. Love the natural ambience, sepecially in this rainy days. The food made with in-house grown organic vegetables was amazing! The team from the nearby villages are very polite and supportive nature, they are very well-behaved and gentle. Truly a very nice experience.

One of our favorite Pugdundee lodges. Beautiful large rooms, delicious food and great staff, close to the river to access the park. Excellent naturalists who do their very best to find the wildlife you come for.

Tolle Unterkunft, wir hatten das rustikale Treehouse Nr. 10, schön ausgestattet mit traumhaftem Blick Richtung Stausee und Satpura Nationalpark. Super ruhige Lage. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Bei Mittagstemperaturen von um die 45° kamen die beiden Klimaanlagen schnell an ihre Grenze, für den nächsten Aufenthalt würden wir eher eine gemauerte Unterkunft nehmen. Die Verpflegung war sensationell auch auf individuelle Wünsche wurde problemlos eingegangen. Das Personal war jederzeit ansprechbar und hat einem quasi jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Rhea, sie war unsere Gästebetreuerin und Naturalistin für die diversen Safari Touren und ein echter Mehrwert. Auch wenn der Satpura Nationalpark etwas kompliziert zu erreichen ist, *** muss zunächst mit dem Jeep zum Ufer des Stausees fahren und dann mit einem Motorboot übersetzen, dort dann in den eigentlichen Jeep steigen, so ist der Park definitiv einer der interessantesten Nationalparks in Indien. Das Wegenetz ist relativ kleinräumig angelegt so dass *** auch wandernden Tieren gut folgen kann. Durch die Nähe zum Stausee, mit seinen vielen Buchten, ist ausreichend Wasser für eine reichhaltige tierwelt vorhanden. Wir haben bei unseren Safaris diverse Tiger, Lippenbären, Wildrinder und eine reichhaltige Vogelwelt zu Gesicht bekommen. Das Denwa Backwater Escape ist die perfekte Ausgangsbasis.

Couldn’t have had a better holiday and safari trip! Probably the best property we have stayed at in the last 10 years we have gone for safaris. The rooms were luxurious and the best part is the location of the property away from the hustle bustle. Special mention to Kshitij and his entire team who took great care of us, they went above and beyond of what else expected. Everything was prompt and sometimes we didn’t even have to ask as things were already done. Food was amazing with a huge variety thanks to Chef Arun and wonderful service by Sufal ji and the team. Can’t wait to visit again and I would say please book this property for your next trip to Satpura !

This is a wonderful place to experience the Indian wilderness. Remote is putting it kindly but the staff, the hotel amenities and the food were all first class. I came here expecting to see leopards and sloth bears. I did see plenty of bears but not leopards. Tiger numbers had increased significantly and as a result leopards were hard to find. I visited several parks after Satpura but the tiger and bear encounters here were the best of the whole trip. A special shout out to the naturalist assigned to me for the safaris. Rhea is brilliant and I feel very lucky to have had such a great guide.

Our stay at Denwa Jungle Lodge satpura was fantastic, Nestled in serene surroundings, the lodge offered a quite escape from city life ,the stay was made special by the warmth and hospitality of its incredible staff. A sincere thank you to Mr. Kshitij for seamlessly organizing our jungle safaris and ensuring our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We are equally grateful to Chef Arun and his dedicated team—Sufalji, Vanita, and others—who delighted us with a variety of exquisite meals spanning multiple cuisines. Each dish was a treat, and the desserts that accompanied every meal deserve a special mention for their creativity and flavor. One of the best wild life experiences of my life. The place, people, hospitality, forest all were amazing. Excellent cottages, fully equipped while being environment friendly. Food is AMAZING- serving a lot of variety. Knowledgeable naturalists, accommodating and always welcoming staff. Great singhtings in the jungle. Luxury experience. Special Shout out to Rhea our assigned naturalist who made every safari memorable. Kshitij and Neha for being there and smilingly welcoming us every time we entered the property and guiding us. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic lodge. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. The manager was always there to greet & check in with you . The food was delicious & plentiful. The scenery & room views were breathtaking. I couldn’t fault anything. I was made to feel so welcome. This lodge is of a very high standard. My guide was amazing. Her knowledge & passion for the wildlife was inspirational. I learnt so much. Thank you for such a wonderful stay & I will definitely be back again.
