Hotel Veli

The interior is beautiful with many paintings and carpets, it is about 600 meters from the sea, it costs little and I would highly recommend it for a family to sleep in, breakfast is free with savory and sweet dishes, while for lunch and dinner you pay for each dish, there is a small lift and on each floor there is a sofa to sit on, there are 4 floors, 18 rooms and many illuminated windows, from the 4th floor you can see the view of the Saranda sea, breakfast is from 8 in the morning until 10.

We stayed in this hotel by booking a room with a terrace (which obviously cost more) but upon our arrival they gave us a room with a window, telling us that the others were not available at the moment... Before booking I had contacted them on whatsapp to find out if the breakfast was international, and they assured me yes, but it wasn't... There were only eggs, feta, tomatoes, cucumbers, some jam, milk... We booked with the breakfast and dinner formula and here too, they brought you a plate of salad for two, and then a single plate (which was the same for 3 consecutive days) where there was a few tiny pieces of meat (pork or chicken) in broth, with some green beans. Stop. Nothing else. Just by asking us if we could have anything else, sometimes they brought us a few slices of feta cheese. For the people who came from outside to dine (who were not part of the hotel, but paid around 20 euros each) they saw more abundant, particular dishes and had a different, more attentive and friendly treatment... While with whom he had already paid in advance, now he no longer had to worry about it... Cleanliness in the room, seen only once (and we also found ants in the bathroom several days) The parking is non-existent, even if they write on the website that they have it... The point is the only good thing, which is quite central (even if not 300 meters from the sea, but it will still be 800 meters / 1 km, with a bit of a nice climb) It is certainly not 3 stars, but perhaps not even two .
