Glow Boutique Hotel & Suites

Best ever Best hotel experience ever….and we have been travelling a lot during 30+ years. Lovely hotel manager set the tone with her mother and ”brothers” Yes you are welcome to Sweden :)

The good: -Beautiful reception area/breakfast area. Decor is lovely. -The rooms are very spacious and clean -The shower is powerful and holds its temperature well -The view from the rooftop pool is gorgeous -The rooftop pool area was lovely and clean and there were always beds available -Good selection of foods at breakfast buffet, all you could ask for- fruit, cereal, pastries, eggs, usually some forn of meat (sausage, bacon), cold meats, cheese, salad, bread. They do not charge extra for standard coffee. -Nice outdoor area to enjoy breakfast Reception staff friendly -Comfy bed -Peaceful inside the hotel -Good Air con in rooms -Pay no attention to previous reviews that say you can't take drinks and snacks in. It is a hotel rule, however staff did not once check bags or stop us entering the hotel with snacks/drinks -Lots of restaurants close by -Ice cream shop downstairs opens in evening and is lovely The not so good: -Hotel is not accessible. There are around 15 steps to get in and out of the hotel from street level. However, the whole of Sarande is not accessible- wouldn't recommend this location (hotel or town) for people with mobility issues. -Breakfast staff weren't always friendly and welcoming -No toaster at breakfast (though staff will toast bread for you if asked) -No tea/coffee making facilities in hotel room- this is mind boggling. Every single hotel I've ever been in provides this- its not good enough! -Most hotels give at least 1 bottle of complimentary water per day- not here! -Pool bar is no longer open, at all so if you want a drink you must go down to reception. There is no way to order a drink up to the pool. -Had a sea view room on 3rd floor, although lovely, view is Obstructed somewhat by trees and buildings -you probably wouldn't want to spend much time on the balcony anyway- traffic noise prevents any relaxation -Beach towels are past their best -There is no shade on rooftop, need umberellas! Just to note the date of this review is incorrect. We stayed in August 2023.

Get the suite, you'll be glad Easy location, beautiful views and impeccable service. Look no further for your next amazing break and treat yourself to the suite, you won't regret it.

Good hotel but not soundproof Nice hotel with a rooftop with great views over Sarandë. Very new and nice looking hotel. Comfortable bed and duvets. Spacious balconies. Staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was okay. The hotel is unfortunately not very soundproof so you can hear people very well in the hallway, also up & down the stairwell and hear noise from the streets. Pool is a mini pool. We also missed some more storage and hanging opportunities in the room, as well as some more service on the rooftop. Unfortunately we also had a sewage smell from our bathroom every day which was annoying.

A must place to stay in Sarande Glow Boutique is exactly that it’s a gorgeous boutique hotel with a stunning roof top pool with panoramic views. Everything from when we arrived was perfect from the guys helping with our cases down the flight of stairs to when we both unfortunately got sick they went above and beyond, the staff here are so friendly and welcoming the lovely lady in reception was just so caring. The hotel itself is so clean and tidy lovely flowers and the decor is gorgeous. They even have a little boutique gelato ice cream shop attached to the hotel which is lovely. Breakfast is all laid out lovely and labelled and they have a good variety the omelette is so good! We stayed in the junior executive suite with sea view this is on the second floor it’s a very partial sea view as there are trees that do block the view however the room was lovely and comfortable and the tress are pretty so no complaints.
