I was driving from Lyon to Paris via Macon. I was exhausted and chose this hotel to rest for a day. The hotel was renovated from an ancient building. The breakfast was very rural and I had a great chat with the hotel manager. Ps: When booking a room, you must confirm the parking space with the hotel in advance, otherwise you can only park under the tree across the road.

100% et perfekt ophold. Flot hotel, pæne og ordentlige værelser som var rene og velholdte. Meget serviceminded personale som forstod hvad korrekt og høflig betjening kan betyde for gæsten. Morgenmaden var excellent !

Un bon hotel dont le personnel essaie de maintenir le niveau 4 etoiles dans une ville de province a l'activité économique et touristique modeste. Personnel attentif, Salon de repos et lecture agréable, service attentioné pour une verre de fin de journée ... Buffet petit dej bien fourni, et c'est important car souvent négligé dans de nombreux établissements. Chambres soignées, literie de bonne qualité ... une bonne étape qu'on ne peut que recommander .

Liebevoll renoviert, Personal sehr achtsam, Gäste orientiert. Das Frühstück bot für alle Gäste ein hochwertiges Essen an. Rücksicht auf Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten. Zimmer zentral, direkt am Flussufer, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Parken am Haus oder in unmittelbarer Umgebung kostenlos möglich.

- Le réducteur de pression de la douche est réglé au maximum, il n’y a aucune pression. - Obligation de suspendre les vélos (et même les vélos électriques!) dans l’enceinte du parking devant les voitures. Des emplacements au sols étaient disponibles lors de notre passage, ils nous ont été refusés. Un local sécurisé a été proposé pour 10€/vélo/nuit. Dommage car tout le reste aurait été satisfaisant.

The outside of the building doesn't reflect the inside, which is really lovely. Private parking at the hotel is 20 euros a night, however there is plenty of parking opposite, which is free. We were greeted warmly and our room overlooking the river was beautifully decorated and very clean. We didn't opt for breakfast at 19 euros per person as I had taken plenty of tea and coffee and we chose to eat later. Easy walking into Macon and there is a little tourist train, which lasts 45 minutes and there are conversations for disabled. On the second evening we ate at Pizzacine a short walk from the hotel and the food was excellent, freshly prepared and one of the best crème brulé we have ever tasted.
