Inizio con il dire che questo resort, probabilmente una cascina lussuosamente risutrutturata, si trova in mezzo al nulla tra i campi vicino a Ginetes. Anche solo per raggiungere il "centro" di Ginetes (dove non c'è poi molto) serve la macchina. Questo sicuramente permette di fare un soggiorno in totale tranquillità. A questo proposito suggerisco ai titolari di rendere il resort "adult only", ne beneficerebbe molto. Il posto è veramente incantevole, la piscina esterna e quella interna con acqua salina, piccola spa ma funzionante. Servizio accurato, forse un po' lento ma in un posto come questo la fretta è meglio lasciarla fuori dalla porta. Colazione non a buffet ma molto curata, in linea con il servizio generale. Io ho soggiornato nella villa. Molto bella, spaziosa e curata, con una cucina completamente attrezzata (forno, microonde, lavastoviglie..) . Unica nota negativa della villa è la posizione, tra il parcheggio e il corpo principale, con poca privacy (è una zona di passaggio) e un po' scomoda in quanto per andare in piscina bisogna sempre passare dalla reception in accappatoio. Nonostante tutto comunque mi sono trovato molto bene. Offrono anche una lista di attività molto nutrita, sicuramente indispensabile per chi vuole fare qualcosa di un po' più attivo, io però non le ho provate.

Found this on a whim and it was well worth it. Hotel was quiet, secluded from crowds and in a cool repurposed old building on the western side of town, near many of the outdoor attractions we desired. Delicious food, great pools and the massages were terrific. Overall it was a very relaxing place and if we return to the island would stay there again.

Amazing resort! Blew away anywhere else we stayed during our 8 days in the Azores. The staff were so nice and accommodating. Food at the restaurant top notch for lunch and dinner. Bartenders fun to hang out with. We didn’t do any spa services, more concentrated on excursions and exploring the beautiful coast and mountains surrounding the property. Already highly recommended this location for friends and family.

We stayed here in FEB 2024, and we honestly can't wait to return. It is hands down the best hotel experience we've ever had. Even before our arrival, they were always very prompt in replying to emails, and answering questions. Every single staff we interacted with, from check-in to check-out, were always friendly, professional and in some instances, went above and beyond in helping us figure out our after hours car rental return.
The handwritten welcome note, and complimentary bottle of wine in our suite was personalized and impressive. Every cocktail was delectable, every meal was delicious. The room, the entire property, everything was spotless and very well maintained.
We can't wait to return. This was the perfect place for some well needed R&R.
