Lovely place, very large and comfy. The only note is the light, dump smell, typical for old houses.

Room was very quiet (apart from the man in the next room snoring very loudly) but room very basic with no plug for the bathroom sink and a weird white plastic plug for the bath which didn't work and let water out. There was no bedside table, no fridge, no bottles of drinking water or tea or coffee provided in the room..Room badly furnished - very grim and depressing. Bed was hard and could feel the springs. Pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast also very basic. Can't understand why this place has such good reviews. It's more like 2 stars rather than 3 stars. Cars and Ubers cannot drive here - only local taxis. Only a 3 hour window to check in 3-6pm so run more for the convenience of the owner rather than the guests.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The owner Karen is full of personality and runs a great B&B. First my flight was cancelled going to Portugal and she was kind enough to make the adjustment on the dates for me. Then the blackout happened and she went around with flashlights for all the people staying. The breakfast was amazing and the location perfect. And the studio was huge with a separate entrance. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a very nice place to stay. It's located right in the middle of the main attractions that most people want to visit. There's a lot to see in Sintra in just one day, so I highly recommend spending the night somewhere. Our room was spacious, with a nicely sized shower stocked with everything you might need, and a restroom featuring a charming historic sink. The owners are doing a great job preserving the character of the place while adding some modern touches. The building itself used to house workers from one of the nearby mansions, which adds to its charm. The owner is nice and very welcoming.

The staff and owner where extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and nice. I just wished the outside sitting area for our building would have been more cozy and comfortable.

Lovely people, good place
Great location and the staff was wonderful! I can’t say enough about how helpful and personable they were. Like most of old Europe locations, outlets are in short supply, so bring a power *****. Breakfast was varied (something for everyone) and gave sustenance for a busy day. Highly recommend!

Muy agradable lugar, excelente ubicación en el centro histórico. Solo que zona sin acceso a uber por lo que había que caminar para llegar al destino y viceversa ( y llovía)
