The hotel is stunning… the surroundings with the gardens, tea house, spa, and pool… Everything is truly incredible. It's a shame we only spent one night there… breakfast in the garden is a luxury… we loved everything!

Great 5 star accomodation. Old chique, and within 15 minutes of airport and Funchal. Wonderful gardens, and we love a 5 star hotel with character and history, that was not built for hundreds of guests in a 10 floor building.

This hotel is by far one of the most luxurious we have ever stayed at, and the staff is truly amazing. I recommend this hotel if you like to stay a few minutes away from the Funchal City Center. It is next to one of the most beautiful botanical gardens that you have access to and a golf course with breathtaking views. If you are looking for a place to stay for a vacation, this is your place.
