Muy bien situado pero con muchísimas carencias y falta de profesionalidad por parte de los empleados. En cuanto a las habitaciones, muy muy básicas para tener 4 estrellas. De vergüenza que la recepción no esté las 24 horas y los precios del bar del hotel

Our hotel for seven nights with GB tours, we had a sea view and a really nice, spacious apartment. We were comfortable, tea tray and water provided. Not happy with the cleaner washing the tea cups in the bathroom. The weather was not the best for May, very windy but we enjoyed watching the surfers. The hotel is some distance away from the town of Santona and the buses were unreliable, poor taxi service too, so the trips out by coach were very welcome. We had a good choice from the menu each day and enjoyed the food with some unusual offerings. Gluten free was a bit of a problem but we managed. Saga uses this hotel and we happily joined in the talks and entertainment, thanks to Belen and her help with our unfortunate hospital visit. All staff were helpful and cheerful and seemed pleased to have us staying there.

Stayed with a walking group and received exceptional service throughout the week. The hotel serves delicious local food which attracts many locals. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff helpful and hard working. Excellent location for walking, bird watching, relaxing or surfing. It was like staying with a family. Excellent

Estuvimos en la jornada de la Antxoa y el Bogavante Era un buen menú y una delicia al paladar. Platos muy bien elaborados El bogavante a la plancha, delicioso El arroz con bogavante, en su punto de sabor, y textura, un plato exquisito. Los entrantes, buena presentación y buen sabor El suflé, sí recomendaría que fuera menos cantidad y menos caldoso. Volveremos

Este hotel que ya lo conocía como siempre a estado de 10 como nos tiene acostumbrados, estuvimos en una habitación Junior Suite que es sencillamente muy buena con unas vistas a la playa de Berria preciosas, muy espaciosa donde tienes dos sofas y tv muy amplias que te hacen sentir como en casa ha sido todo un acierto esta habitación. Personal muy simpatico, atento y supercorrecto, desde la recepción hasta Marda y José y el resto del equipo de restauración. Cocina muy buena como siempre con las jornadas del bogavante que son todo un acierto. Gracias a todo el equipo por vuestra atención y simpatía.

Tras muchos años.Este año decepción.Habitacion 305 tercera planta.Moqueta sucia.Picotazos de noche.Acribillada.Mi marido también.10 días de medicos(en mi caso reacción alergica).Diagnóstico del dermatologo:picadura de chinches.En casa nadie más tiene .Y limpiando todos los días a fondo por si hemos traído "algo".Un calvario.Una pena.

Having visited previously for 2 nights as independent travellers on our way to the ferry. We were so impressed that we chose to return for a two week, all inclusive, Saga trip. A welcoming hotel, with wonderful loyal staff, some of whom have been there for many years. Speaks volumes about the management. The food is very good, with a Spanish accent. Chosen from a menu each evening for the following day, this efficiently avoids excess food waste. The rooms are comfortable, and well maintained by the chambermaids. Absolutely adequate, if not luxurious. There are several areas with comfortable seating for reading. The direct access to the beach is lovely. Watching the surfers, and rocked to sleep by the sound of the sea. Belen, the amazing Saga rep is just the best. No request is overlooked. She just works so hard to ensure that all goes smoothly. She is regularly available around the hotel so that her guests feel cared for. Margot, the lovely owner/manager took us to the kitchen to teach us how to make proper Spanish paella (I am trying!) also for a little wine tasting. The Albariño is delicious. To sum up. A really restful holiday.

We stayed for a week on a Saga holiday in early October. The hotel staff, expertly managed and supported by Margot their manager, provided excellent service at all times and were quick to respond to individual needs such as specialist dietary requirements. They appreciated our efforts to speak to them in Spanish. The Saga Holiday Guide, Belen, was 5*. She was always available, dealt competently with 2 emergencies which occurred during our visit, and showed energy and enthusiasm for everything. There is direct access from the hotel to a wide, undeveloped beach, The dinner menu for Saga guests had 3 choices for each course and guests are asked to make their choices for the following evening after finishing each evening's meal. This is an excellent way to reduce food waste. Local ingredients were used wherever possible, We were highly satisfied with the menu choices, the quality of the food and with the service. Our room was spacious and well equipped.
