Wonderful place to stay. Would give it 5 stars but for the ridiculous and incomprehensibe bill that not even other Parador staff could comùprehend. Sadly left a sour taste at the end.

Si bien la estancia en el parador resultó agradable, dos aspectos la reducen considerablemente. En primer lugar, la escasez de platos principales sin suplemento de 5 euros en el menú del restaurante, sobre todo en los platos de carne, teniendo en cuenta que se trata de un menú para una media pensión, cuyo precio debería incluir la mayoría de productos y platos, esto es, que el suplemento sea excepcional, no la norma. Por otro lado, no resulta muy agradable pagar por una habitación superior cuyas vistas remitan a un patio interior, sin pobilidad de descorrer las coritinas sin ser visto desde un pasillo.

El parador es muy bonito. Es la primera vez que nos alojábamos alli porque siempre vamos al otro parador Santo Domingo Bernardo de la Fresneda. El salón es espectacular y el desayuno muy completo y en un comedor precioso. Sólo echo de menos un saloncito o biblioteca para poder estar tranquilamente leyendo. La atención muy buena.

The Parador dates back to the 12 century and has an extremely well maintained lobby filled with Gothic arches and wooden coffered ceilings. The room was clean and large. Overall a fun place to stay. Th only downside we experienced was the service during dinner. It was slow and we felt a bit ignored.
