Alojamiento en casa rural muy bien cuidada y en entorno muy tranquilo. Habitacion normal y cama baja con colchón bueno. Falló la calefacción tanto en el baño como en la habitación. Muy buen desayuno con atención de personal en todo momento.

Wonderful, historic and charming hotel. I love these small, family run boutique hotels and Casa del Marques did NOT disappoint! Lovely room, comfy bed, clean and pleasant. Front desk staff was super gracious, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was OK. Bar was great! Even better was the help yourself bar in the picturesque back courtyard, full of blooms, orange and lemon trees and two onsite house cats to make it interesting! Only real comment I would have is that updating the rooms really is in order. The bathrooms need a complete overhaul. Loved the bidet, but renovating / updating the bathroom to include getting rid of the shower-in-the-tub, would be equally as acceptable. Lighting not all that good; fairly dim. The electrical system probably need updating, to include more outlets AND USB / USC outlets be made available in the rooms. My adapter took care of all my needs, but I had to move the mattress out in order to use the single outlet behind the headboard - I used both USB outlets, both USC outlets, and the plug. Crossed my mind that I might be overloading the circuits, but I had no mishaps. Just a crooked mattress. The motion detector lights on the stairwells worked most of the time, but were still not enough. Tripping and falling down the dimly lit stairs - even with the motion detector light on - was a real possibility. An accident (and possible lawsuit) waiting to happen I thought every time I descended the stairs from my room. Since there really isn’t all that much to do in Santillana Del Mar (the Main Street is two blocks long and pretty much a single street filled with souvenir shops, cafes and hotels), this was a lovely hotel to hang out in!

We have done a road trip around Spain and Portugal and stayed in some lovely hotels but this is the best and situated in a beautiful part of Spain. Exquisitely decorated and spotlessly clean with comfy beds and a fantastic shower. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was fantastic even down to the drinks expertly served in the bar. Spacious garage for parking but free spaces outside. Lovely breakfast and a great pool area.

We loved staying at La Casa del Organista! The old building has an interesting history, and each room is unique. The location is perfect, because it's a two minute walk from the main plaza, but provides a quieter setting. We liked sitting on the little balcony and watching the changes of the town during the day. There are also lovely sitting rooms for guests. Breakfast outdoors on the terrace was special, with a view of the 11th and 12th century stone buildings, and may options of food. Free parking is available below the hotel. Rafael greeted us warmly, and made helpful recommendations of what to see in Santillana del Mar, and also where to stop along the way when we drove to another town. We always enjoyed talking with Rafael! (He did warn us not to bump our heads on the slanted ceiling in our third floor room, but somehow we forgot!)

Somos una pareja de Valencia, nos alojamos en la Pensión Castio tres noches, en principio iban a ser dos, pero decidimos quedarnos una noche más, se encuentra a 7 u 8 minutos andando hasta el centro, en coche a un minuto, la ubicación era perfecta para ir al centro dando un paseo y lo bastante alejada para poder disfrutar de la tranquilidad y la paz de un sitio tan bonito como ese. La dueña, Martina si no me equivoco, muy atenta y encantadora, y TODO impoluto, las habitaciones muy bonitas, y sobretodo muy limpias, el viaje era de 12 días y los días siguientes fuimos a hoteles con más estrellas que han dejado mucho que desear. Ojalá pudiésemos volver en un futuro, porque sin duda volveríamos a alojarnos en el mismo sitio. Las vistas increíbles. y todo muy bien cuidado. Muchas gracias por hacer nuestra estancia tan agradable.
