We love this hotel! Excellent location, right across the street from the old town quarter, just a few minutes walk to the majestic cathedral, restaurants, shops, bakeries, markets, cafes. Front desk reception staff were super helpful, warm, friendly. Check in was fast and easy, the lovely lady receptionist gave us informative instruction about breakfast which served in the bright, sunny breakfast room overlooking a gorgeous garden filled with gardenia, geranium, and also a bird aviary. Wonderful self-served breakfast buffet, with so many types of bread, pastries, cheese, meat, fried eggs, bacon, milk, coffee, juices, and tea. Heathy breakfast choices included cereal, muesli, oatmeal, natural yogurt, and fruits. Breakfast room attendants were very nice. We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights on the old, classy, charming 3rd floor of the hotel. Very comfortable beds (great for tired feet and bodies after our epic Camino Portugués walk!) with large, clean bathroom, luxurious bathtub, cool AC, desk, closet. There’s also an elevator! We didn’t have to drag our 8 suitcases up and down the stairs like at many old European hotels. On check out day, the lady receptionist arranged a taxi van to take our group to the airport. Definitely of one of most memorable, most wonderful hotels we’ve stayed on our month long trip across France, Portugal, and Spain. Highly recommend!
