The location is fantastic as it is right next to the old town. The rooms are small but cosy and the bathroom is tiny. The quality-price ratio is good. A very good option for staying in Santiago de Compostela.

The cleaning was pitiful, as we found suspicious stains in the bathroom toilet that looked like they were traces of feces... attached photos. We contacted reception and received no response from the owner. They were not able to clean and disinfect it. Pitiful and disgusting.

· The location is unbeatable, close to the bus that goes to the airport, next to the center, it is very good, it has two terraces, super divine, you have water, coffee and tea. You also have refrigerators to store your things. A very spacious and comfortable room. A detail, you can wash some clothes, because when you have been there for many days you always need something, I recommend it. The guy at the reception who is Venezuelan is super friendly when it comes to asking something.

Muy organizado y limpio. Con café y sobacos como obsequio que puedes recoger en una cocina comunitaria y tomarlo en una de las dos terrazas. Le falta insonorización y aunque los baños sean comunes, es mejor separar las duchas de éstos ya que hay gente por la mañana que se ducha como si no hubiera fin y hay que aguantarse para evacuar y esperar.

Contraté dos habitaciones contiguas con baño compartido y la planta más baja posible ya que una de las personas con las que viajaba tiene movilidad reducida. Mediante mensaje por Booking me comuniqué con el alojamiento que me aseguró que se me asignarían dos habitaciones contiguas y el baño era de uso exclusivo para ambas, de no haber sido así habría cancelado la reserva, ya que tenía cancelación gratuita y habría buscado otra opción mejor adaptada a mis necesidades. Al llegar nos encontramos con dos habitaciones en la última planta del edificio sin ascensor, que no estaban contiguas (31 y 35) y el baño era para compartir con 7 habitaciones más. Me dirijo al recepcionista enseñándole los mensajes y me dice que sí, que hablamos eso pero que la información aportada no es vinculante, en lugar de al menos tener la decencia de disculparse y encontrar alguna solución. La atención fue nefasta y nos sentimos totalmente engañados.

I had a reservation made on February 15th for this establishment. One night on August 6th. Upon arrival they told us that this reservation was not saved because their app, which we booked through Booking and with a confirmation email, had not saved the reservation. After a back and forth with the staff, who despite not being at fault were not at all helpful or empathetic, they suggested another reservation at another hotel 1km AWAY!!!! We had to accept it but were very indignant. In addition, they did not manage the change of suitcase (sent from the previous hotel to this one), but we had to do it ourselves. Very poor service, a serious problem with the MANAGEMENT OF THE RESERVATION and a NULL AND DISASTROUS RESOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM. We have gone from having a room reserved SINCE FEBRUARY in the very centre, after finishing the Camino, to having it 1KM FROM THE CENTRE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE, lack of resolution of the conflict, problems with the reservation when we had a confirmation email and everything... it is incredible that this happens today when it is easy to check and confirm a reservation. THIS SITE IS NOT TRUSTED. Be careful. And that is, we have not had any problems during our trip, but do not go to CASA DOURO.

Hoy 6 de Agosto me presento a las 14h en casa Douro ya que tenía una reserva confirmada desde el 15 de Febrero y cuál es mi sorpresa que me dice el empleado que no consta …. Al enseñar la reserva en el móvil me dice que le ha pasado más veces que han cambiado 2 veces el sistema de gestión informática y que algo habrás pasado 🤦🏻🤦🏻… nos comenta que va a ver si nos puede buscar una habitación “ el local está lleno “ .. contacta con un primer hotel y nos da una dirección, posteriormente habla por tlf con quien él dice que es su jefe y le explica la situación diciendo que somos los primeros en llegar para hacer el cheli/in y este nos reenvía a otro establecimiento diciendo que es de la misma categoría aunque más caro pero nos da la diferencia en metálico… Este local del cual no voy a facilitar el nombre ya que yo nunca lo hubiera elegido se encuentra a 1km andando de casa douro, lo que significa que de estar en el centro de Santiago pasamos a estar a 17 minutos andando y la habitación es de una pensión de los años 70 … limpia pero con todo el mobiliario , camas y sobre todo el baño muy muy antiguo…. Vamos que hay hasta cortina en la ducha y con los tubos del agua vistos … Una gestión por parte de Casa Douro “ NEFASTA “ y para más Inri, no habia llegado nuestra maleta y cuando hacemos las gestiones para su llegada pretendía el recepcionista que la llevásemos andando hasta que hemos tenido que hacerle ver que era responsabilidad del local el traslada hasta la nueva ubicación….

Kleinschalig hostel met vriendelijke gastheer/vrouw. Kleine, zeer schone kamers met eigen douche/sanitair. Drietal dakterrassen en klein keukentje met thee/koffie. Wel gehorig maar niet anders dan andere gelegenheden in de stad. Op prima locatie pal naast het oude centrum. Alles op loopafstand.
