I stayed at this hotel a long time ago, and now I was surprised by some negative aspects:
The spa is now only available for 1 hour per day.
The elevator takes a long time.
Furthermore, the restaurant continues to have good food and service, and the hotel staff continues to be good-humored and polite.

Ik kom inmiddels al meer dan 35 keer in Hotel Dom Gonçalo in Fátima, en elke keer voelt het weer als thuiskomen. Het hotel is top – comfortabele kamers, vriendelijke service en een fijne, rustige sfeer. Maar dit keer wil ik vooral even stilstaan bij het restaurant, want wát heb ik daar genoten. Als hoofdgerecht koos ik voor een heerlijk lambsrack, perfect gegaard en vol van smaak. Daarbij werd een mooie Douro-wijn geschonken die het gerecht prachtig aanvulde. Je proeft aan alles dat hier met liefde en vakmanschap wordt gewerkt. En toen kwam het dessert... Een glas 20 jaar oude port met een stuk Queijo dos Açores – wat een combinatie. De romige kaas met de zachte, complexe port maakte het diner compleet onvergetelijk. Of je hier voor het eerst bent of – net als ik – al tientallen keren komt: het blijft bijzonder. Dom Gonçalo is voor mij een vaste waarde in Fátima, zowel qua verblijf als qua keuken. Aanrader van harte! Ook voor het mooie ontbijtbuffet.

For such a well priced hotel , it’s a gem we are travelling around Portugal & regret not staying a second night . Very comfortable, very good location . Bar man made us think we were in the Ritz when pouring a glass of wine . Smashing breakfast , nice room . Lovely staff .

Boa localização mas barulhento
Colaboradores não muito simpáticos!
O hotel eh bom mas inferior em comparação a hotéis da mesma categoria check out as onze eh ruim! Tudo se paga tipo recarregar o carro ok tenho que pagar mas ter que pagar diária da garagem para abastecer o carro eh o fim tendo em vista que o hotel tem estacionamento grátis
