Iberostar Waves Club Cala Barca

The all-inclusive was great, location is very far from the airport. And the food variety could be improved.

If you are going to spend thousands of well earned dollars on a holiday,Don’t spend it here. It is not 4 star by a long shot. If you do lose your mind an book to stay please stay near the centre so you are close to everything otherwise it’s a good ten minutes walk to get to pools,restaurants and any form of entertainment and a good uphill walk at that in 30degree heat is noooo good. Pools-omg they are so rammed,people take most of the beds by 8-8.30 and there are still loads of people wandering round looking for beds. There are far too many people to bed ratio. The pools were rammed especially the larger Olympic pool. The amount of people that had injuries from broken glass around the pools was just unbelievable especially when there are so many children there. FOOD. The food was pretty poor. Kids putting their hands in. Repetitive and boring and whilst we were there at least 5 people that we spoke to had food poisoning and knew other people that had been ill. The main restaurant was like a cattle market with people rushing and pushing like it was their last meal. Beach. The beach is not far from the main area which was handy,however the smell of sewage was unbearable even when sat in the beach restaurant eating which was off putting. Rooms-rooms were small and basic Nighttime entertainment- near pool area. the team tried but again no seats as there is just too many people in the hotel and glass been broken everywhere. Arcade area-nothing worked. One positive is the ice cream parlour which the kids loved. Iberosar are clearly very greedy,there were far too many people rammed into this hotel.

We stayed here in August two families , we we’re both in apartments 1126 & 1147. These couldn’t have been further from everything if tried. At least a 10 minute walk up hill , both ways. There was a shuttle service but was so busy at times it was quicker to walk .. The rooms especially the bathroom were very worn and need a general updating. There was no all inclusive in this area once the ‘ponet’ bar had closed ..no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms if you wanted a early morning coffee you had to walk 10 minutes to get one.. having said all the above , food was delicious drinks plentiful, lovely pools and a variety of entertainment.. so paid for 4⭐️ accommodation and felt we got 2⭐️..
