The best hotel we had the pleasure of patronizing in Madeira, possibly one of the best we have experienced in Portugal. Incredible views situated on the edge of volcanic cliffs; Great, tasty food at the restaurant, helpful staff. Quinta do Furao was recommended to us by friends and we in turn, recommend this comfortable hotel to anyone visiting Madeira.

This was our fourth stay at the hotel, and it continues to impress. They maintain a high standard, ensuring everything is clean and well-kept. The variety of vegetarian and vegan options in the restaurant is pretty decent, though a few more vegan choices at breakfast would be a welcome addition. The restaurant could use a refresh, but the overall experience remains excellent. A special mention goes to the lobby bar staff, who were outstanding and the reception team, who made check-in and check-out smooth. The hotel consistently delivers a fantastic experience, and we look forward to returning!

Just perfect. Welcoming, super friendly, helpful, amazing location and food on site (well, within 3 minute walk at their restaurant and pizzeria). Cant wait to go back.

J'ai aimé : · la situation de l'hôtel avec une vue extraordinaire sur la mer en bas de la falaise, depuis le balcon de la chambre. J'ai apprécié les 2 piscines, la terrasse du bar et les différentes possibilités de se restaurer (restaurant, pizzeria,...). L'environnement des vignes est un vrai plus. Je n'ai pas aimé · la literie est convenable sans plus, l'alèse sur le matelas étant trop chaude (caoutchouc ?) et le matelas lui-même un peu trop mou. L'isolation phonique par rapport au couloir et aux chambres voisines est très mauvaise. À ce niveau de prix, une meilleure isolation phonique d'une chambre à l'autre paraît indispensable et une double porte par rapport au couloir également, la surface de la chambre le permettant. L'éclairage de la salle de bains n'étant assuré que par des spots au plafond, un éclairage autour du miroir serait bienvenu.
