This is not a bed and breakfast. Do not be fooled. The rooms are real small. The breakfast was delivered to our room the night before and included 2 apples, 2 bananas, 2 bottles of juice (warm) and store bought muffins. This is not what I consider breakfast, a lunch snack at best. When we entered, we turned thew AC on and in 30 minutes the room smelled awful. AC must need cleaning. This place is nothing more than a 60's motel. We canceled the remainder of our stay and moved on.

We stayed here during a business trip. The grounds are beautiful but our room wasn't all that great. The room was definately too small in every sense, down to the toilet. It didn't seem like they maintain the room on a regular basis, almost like they don't care. Margaret was extremely rude and reluctantly assisted us. It was like she was doing us a favor. She acted as if we were disturbing her. She basically made our stay unpleasant. The breakfast wasn't all that great as well. Needless to say, I will not be staying here again.

We were to spend 2 nights, Oct. 17-19, but left after the first night. Wish I had saved pictures. Started with missing cushion on one of two dirty, porch chairs. Ants in bathroom-husband went to office; they handed him bug spray! Then 2 dead and one live bug on floor. Several holes in the very thin sheets. Broken towel rack (about to come off bathroom wall). Tiny bath soap and no other amenities. And then to 'top it off' the morning "quiche" was greasy and so we didn't finish breakfast. Amazing what 'pro pics' can do when checking a website. HIGHLY RECOMMEND that they either totally remodel or NOT advertise as they do with flowery pics and good angles.

Beautiful hotel in Santa Ynez. Quaint and quiet, rooms are lovely and the staff was excellent and so nice!

We loved the grounds of the property. Plenty of room for guests to enjoy the ambiance. Lovely, helpful staff. Since breakfast isn’t available onsite, a mini fridge in the room would be appreciated for guests to bring breakfast items. Even though the property is just off the main road, the rooms are set back enough so that it’s quiet. Bocce and bikes were fun extras.
