This place met our wildest expectations for an off-track luxury getaway. While most guests stay a couple of nights we were there a week, so got to really fully experience the rhythm of the place. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the public space is truly spectacular. We stayed in an ocean view “treehouse” with a Swiss Family Robinson style bathroom which was one of the most beautiful bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Every detail of the hotel has been carefully thought out and guests are treated royally. The food is excellent, although as with the rest of our meals in Colombia, some items were often unavailable. The private beach area is big and clean although the public beach is littered with plastic from the ocean, sadly. A 15 minute walk to nearby Santa Veronica will give you a taste of local life with a row of a dozen ocean view beach restaurants. Be sure to try eating on the upper deck of the public area!
