Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

The room was clean, easily accessible and way better than the motel across the street.

We booked one night at the Econo Lodge in Santa Rosa, NM at $113. It is conveniently located on Historic Route 66 in a neighborhood with other hotels. There is free off-street parking but limited in turn around space for large vehicles. This is a retro motel where you park at your door. The facility is mostly one story through there is a section with second story rooms. We had a mini fridge with no freezer section. There was a coffee maker, hairdryer, and safe but no iron or board. The vanity was separate from the toilet, tub and shower. There were dispensed toiletries. The grounds and rooms were clean though the annex area needs attention. There was free reliable internet. Breakfast was very limited with waffles and some continental items though even at the start items like muffins were limited. There is a free accessible ice machine. Check in and out was efficient and friendly. We had a large king room. There was vinyl plank flooring We had a desk with a chair and a separate love seat couch. We had a little trouble with our deadbolt lock. It didn't close. The pool was filled in. The area is walkable with sidewalks. It is close to a local Mexican restaurant and not too far from McDonalds with other conveniences and sites a short drive away.

Very comfy beds - supportive yet down-comfy. Management is excellent - friendly and accommodating. Convenient location. One of the cleanest and most well maintained hotels in this immediate area. Not much in the way of breakfast, but we were not expecting a lot because the price was so good. Exceptionally clean. We especially liked that we could park right in front of our room and did not have to lug our stuff up and down stairs (all single level here).

These guys are really trying and it shows. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. It was a quick stop over for just one night and it was all that we needed. The staff were pleasant and the room was very clean and spacious. Ok, it was a very limited and small breakfast with no hot food other than waffles but this is a motel so you are lucky to get anything. It was enough to keep you going for a while. The big plus was that the bed was super comfortable in my opinion. This was the best night's sleep I got the whole trip! I would stay here again and the price was very reasonable.
