Reverence Life Hotel - Adults Only

Had lovely time at the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great variety at breakfast, gorgeous desserts at dinner. Proper coffee at breakfast was a very pleasant discovery. Loved it. Will come back!

We came here for a week . We stayed in the main building on the first floor . Room was spotless no issues whatsoever with anything. Staff were helpful as we had accessibility issues regarding a scooted we rented but everything was perfect. The breakfast was lovely. The choice was good but I think the kitchen team need more training on food handling.. bar staff were very good and friendly..Israel and his team were great to chat to and very efficient and knowledgeable. Stayed for a week in a premium room in the Sunrise block with family. Great room, decent size a a huge super king bed in one room and two doubles in our other room. Balcony overlooks the pools and the main hotel building. Roof top pool in sunrise is fab, very quite, 1m deep pool, sun beds and two Bali beds, only for guests in that block and room key card required to get access. Some other guests do make it up there but lots of room up there generally and great views out over Santa Ponca, the beach and the hills beyond. We stayed half board and food was good for buffet style. Lots of choice, including show cooking, and each dish of food is served in small bowls so constantly being replenished and not going cold. Plenty of local options as well as chips if that’s what you are after. Breakfast excellent with omelette, fried eggs and pancakes cooked to order. Hotel doesn’t allow you to charge to room, you can add credit to your room and use that if you are budgeting but we just paid for drinks as we went. Drinks are very reasonable and comparable to nearby bars. Decent range of cocktails on offer. Definitely register for the hotels loyalty programme, you get 10% of drinks so bit of a non-brainer! Staff all very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t keep our room for a late check out ( costs €35) but you can use showers in reception or spa area to get changed pre-flight. We got a taxi to and from the hotel, cost us €53 and €43 and took 35 mins from the airport. Short steepish hill to get to the hotel from the beach to the hotels, but no issue for most people. Hotel is definitely on the quieter south side of the resort. North side much livelier with all the bars on the main ***** about 15 mins walk. Lots of nice bars and restaurants close by, Il Tino Italian the best of the bunch

The hotel is basic but pleasant. The room reminded me a bit like a Travelodge room, however it seated our needs. The pool is nice and we enjoyed our times there. The restaurant food just needs some issues issues addressing for it to become more enjoyable. The cross contamination between meats and vegetables and fish is shocking. The chefs don’t care what utensils they use for what products. Even at breakfast if you are having an omelette and you say you want a vegetarian, they use a bowl which has bits of ham in it. There is no labelling of the meats in the food so you don’t know whether something is vegetarian or if it has meat in it. That is a fresh cook food station which does have a variety of meats and fish. The only problem is the chef tends to cook it; put it on the side and then reheat it or you just get it served cold as he would’ve cooked it 5 or 10 minutes ago. I don’t think it’s appropriate to reheat cooked fish like this either and the surprised the hotel does this.

Hotel is in a good location although as others have mentioned there is a steep hill down to shops as bars but it’s not too bad. You check in online which was unusual but not too complicated.Have never stayed at a hotel and not received a welcome drink though. Room was very clean and comfortable. Pools were kept clean and staff seemed to really make an effort with communal areas. Breakfast was great but evening meal was basic; not enough vegetables or meat choices. Just as I’ve read on other reviews we were unfortunate enough to witness some rather loud guests taking over the pool area and being extremely rude and confrontational to the poor member of staff who was trying to do his job. Not the hotels fault at all but such a shame that some guests can’t behave. All in all though a good little spot to stay in and a nice friendly clean hotel
