We were in room 8 which was on the upper level and had an uninterrupted view of the beach. Nothing better than going downstairs and taking a couple of steps and you’re on the sand. The place had a relaxed vibe and it was only a 15-minute stroll up and over the hill into Mazunte. Rooms were basic with large bathroom but if you enjoy sitting on your deck watching the ocean and then going to bed to the sound of the surf you should stay here. We didn’t want to leave

A little corner of paradise in the pacific ocean. This place is peaceful, quiet with a lot of charm and beautiful. The bungalows are very cosy with all the necessities & with a stunning view on the Ocean what a luxury. I love the “jungle tropical” vibe this hotel has with all the plants and details very well thought. The personal is very kind, available for any demand and the service is always great. You got nice service/drink/food at the restaurant, your lounge chair beach and the premium view on the beach. Love the hammock in each room. I recommend a stay there for recharging or a full reset.

Todo mas que bien, instalaciones muy buenas, mobiliario, servicio excelente actitud, simpáticos, la playa invreible, buenisimo el restaurante, personal muy amable. Los platillos regionales deliciosos y bebidas muy bien hechas.

Our family loved our stay at Cabanas Punta Placer! Right from the start they impressed us with organising our transport from P. Escondió and with Olympia’s warm welcome. We stayed in the Family Cabana which was just amazing. We thought there would be no view but there are beautiful glimpses, including both the shower and the upstairs bedroom overlooking the beach. Huge king size bed downstairs and plenty of space for luggage. We literally woke up every morning and headed straight down to the beach for a swim, came back up for breakfast at the hotel or one of the amazing restaurants along this *****, had a nap and then woke up to do it all again! The perfect holiday! The restaurant staff are lovely- sorry, I have no names. The gentleman in black who looked after us mostly was so friendly and efficient. A huge thank you to Jaime who not only came up very early and without asking to take our bags to a taxi but also assisted us in an emergency with our passports. Will never be forgotten! Highly recommend this hotel and San Agustinillo in general!

We zijn hier bij toeval terecht gekomen. Prachtige locatie op meters van de bulderende golven. De uitbaters spreken uitstekend Engels en hebben oog voor detail. Alles is piekfijn onderhouden. Geen airco op de kamer, maar door de oceaan is er altijd wind, en er zijn tal van ventilatoren. Goed restaurant voor ontbijt. Wel 1 minpunt: geen credit cards.

These bungalows remind me of ‘glamping’ on the beach! It is like camping on the beach but with comfortable beds! Such comfortable accommodations with the constant sound of the waves. Very clean space with large bathroom and shower. You hardly notice the salt water showers. I just hope they can bounce back after the hurricane. If you love nature and need a break from the hustle and bustle this is the place for you. The internet works fine in the restaurant that serves the best coffee in town! Or just grab your book, grab a lounge chair on the beach and forget about work!

In March 2022 we were allowed to stay in a beautiful cabana for a week. Right on the beach. Beautiful view. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast or lunch for a reasonable price. Recommended. We will be back next time.

Mala experiencia en este hotel. Nos dieron la habitación tardísimo. El cuarto estaba sucio y con mal olor. El servicio muy malo y sin ganas de arreglar los detalles de nuestra estancia. Lo único bueno de este lugar fue la playa. Pero hay otros hoteles en esta playa qué se veían mejores
