Abbiamo soggiornato io e mio marito dal 15 al 29 agosto 24. Personale gentile educato e cordiale. Hotel sempre in ordine e pulito. Il bello della struttura che è a solo 5 minuti fldal centro e dal mare. Ha una piscina accessibile a tutti. Esperienza veramente positiva

Second stay at pontao , lovely hotel central to everything .The rooms are basic, worn and tired , but spotless. The cleaning team do a great job. Breakfast is ok, average but adequate. The pool is also ok, but some ***** in the hotel insists on playing bass heavy music, from 9.30am till 8.pm making it impossible to relax. Please sort it out. The noise travels into the rooms. Boom boom boom . Awful

Tutto molto bello! Personale super gentile .. la posizione a due passi dal mare e dal centro. Possibilità di prenotare le escursioni in loco. Da provare assolutamente i panini che prepara la chef. I due ragazzi della reception super gentili e simpatici! In bocca al lupo ragazzi!

The hotel is in a superb location very close to the beach and the main street. The hotel it's self is pretty basic, but very clean, the cleaning staff are working all day, working very hard, they are all very friendly and always smiling and saying hello. Breakfast was good, a great selection of bread rolls, cheese, cold meats, salad, fruit, yoghurts, cake. On the hot counter you could get omlettes, fried eggs, bacon (no it is not English bacon, so don't expect this !) plenty of good food to fill up for the day. Swimming pool - ladders into pool only have 2 steps, so you have to have very long legs or be quite flexible to get out, older people would have extreme difficulty with this.

An aging hotel with no charm and very noisy. The rooms overlooking the street let you enjoy the noise of cars, late or early morning discussions. The balconies are unusable: too small and directly overlooking the street. Breakfast is uninteresting, long wait to try to get a bowl when the plates are not missing. The deckchairs in front of the pool should have been yellow, they are gray/yellow. The pool is also not very welcoming: almost no one in it. In short, for us, a bad encounter that lasted 1 week. Le Petit Futé should review its collaboration with the Puntao Hotel.

Wir waren untergebracht in einem Zimmer im Erdgeschoss und konnten von der Terrasse aus zum Pool gehen. Der Grünbereich um den Pool ist u.a. mit tollen Palmen und Bananenstauden bepflanzt, die ein wunderbares Ambiente ergeben. Auf der Sonnenterasse um den Whirlpool waren immer freie Liegen zu finden. Das Frühstück ist vollkommen ausreichend und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. War etwas aus, wurde aufgefüllt, z.B. frische Papaya. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Entfernung zum Strand ist wie beschrieben und auch das Zentrum von Santa Maria fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Das Hotel würde keinem 4-Sterne-Standard in Deutschland entsprechen - aber wir waren eben auf Cabo Verde - also: no stress :-)

Have stayed before and gave in 4* Was bit disappointed this time Paid extra for pool view as last time was kept awake by Pirate disco. Were initially shown to top floor room directly opposite disco. We asked to be moved and were given a room by the pool. This smelt of damp and there was a large patch of mould on the wall. The toilet leaked water from the back. There was not hot water for the full week. The sunbeds were all reserved by 8am-luckily few guests knew about the upstairs terrace which was great. Breakfast was very good but chaotic constantly running out of everything. The evening meal was ok but service was terribly slow-the poor water was rushed off his feet doing everything. We ate out the other nights and there are loads of good restaurants in 2 mins walk Its basically a decent value hotel with great staff and a fab location 3mins from pier and beach--would I go again ?? --probably. If you want 5* you can probably get in an AI out of town --but you will miss so much.

Tees bon rapport qualité prix! Petit dej sympa, bonne situation géographique ! Atmosphère très détendu! Rue piétonne et jetée à proximité mais calme! Allez voir les tortues en snorkeling! Mélange de culture afro-portugaise! Pas de maum, un bonheur! Que des petits artisans!
