A 4 star hotel that is perfect for the country we are in. We only booked with breakfast so we could do more activities but I don't know if it offers the all-inclusive option. Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms with air conditioning and minibar. You cross the street and there is the beach, quality-price ratio a little high for the type of hotel but recommendable. Quality and varied breakfast with omelettes and fried eggs made live.

I stayed here for 5 days in May. Most of the staff were nice; some were unfriendly and did not smile back or initiate the first greeting. The tv in my room did not work. It was exchanged for another tv which also didn't work; there was something wrong with the volume and barely any sound coming out. There were birds and flies on the food at breakfast every morning. The staff were aware of this but did not cover anything. I pointed this out to one of the staff but he didn't seemed bother. On one occasion, a member of housekeeping entered my room without knocking. I was completely undressed and was very annoyed about this. Half-board option wasn't good value for money. It was a set dinner menu - not buffet and the portions were small. The options were also limited. The beauty suite was good.

hotel is nice as a whole. great location , wonderful friendly staff. hotel was quiet (not many guests) breakfast was limited with choice - the watermelon wasn’t fresh it seemed a bit stale. there was limited entertainment of an evening, we would visit friends staying in a nearby hotel who had entertainment every evening. mini bar in the room - you get charged for, usually you get complimentary drink/water. there wasn’t any. cleanliness - room service came daily and done a great job however on the first night our money had gone missing which was very disappointing. however the hotel staff did resolve the issue. hotel was in a great location and a short walk from the stores and beach. there is a great restaurant across the street (on the beach) which belongs to the hilton - we ate there many times as the food in the hotel was limited for choice.

Loved this hotel. I usually pick a 5 star hotel but after looking at reviews and prices I chose Dunas de Sal. Our room was on first floor up. It was fine. Bathroom was a little tired but fine. Fridge stocked with various things if you were desperate. We stayed B&B so nipped to local supermarket to get a few supplies. Breakfast was fabulous. Omelette station, fruit, cereals, bread and various different foods daily. Lovely pool. Sunbeds always available. It’s all kept very clean. This hotel is so quiet I loved it. We seemed to be the only Brits there. No children around and in fact Cape Verde isn’t really a place for children or teens. I noticed that at the airport. We walked into town 15/20 mins once or twice but we were happy with all the beaches close by. The hotel does have a few sunbeds on the beach for guests to use. You don’t get told this but I read this in a previous review. Beach is straight across the road. Poolside lunch and dinner was lovely at the hotel. I preferred the food here to eating out tbh. Staff are lovely. If you walk about a mile behind the hotel Ponte Preta ( you can see the bar/cafes from the hotel on the horizon) you will find a couple of places next to another stretch of beautiful beach. Had the local Wahoo fish here. You have to like the wind in Sal. It’s pretty much a constant. Weather was a decent 20 degrees. Bit cooler at night but not as cool as canaries. Airport tax was took from us at the airport and we are trying to get a refund from TUI for that. All in all if you want a peaceful relaxing hotel with good food near beautiful beaches then I totally recommend Dunas de Sal ! Beautiful X

Péssimo atendimento e política de cancelamento. Não pudemos comparecer devido a um problema de saúde que nos impediu de viajar. Informámos o hotel do sucedido, anexámos os exames e relatório médico e enviámos por email e através de todos os contactos que constam no site. Nem resposta deram. Éramos para ter ido em fevereiro e até hoje continuamos à espera de resposta. Ficámos sem cerca de 550 euros. Só pensam em lucro, nada mais, total desinteresse pelos problemas devidamente documentados. Nunca mais!

Séjour d’une semaine dans cet hôtel de petite taille avec vue sur piscine. Cadre sympathique et calme. La chambre était confortable et propre. Niveau repas RAS, tout était bon. Le soir nous étions servis à l’assiette avec 3 choix pour les entrées, plats et desserts + animation avec musiciens et danseurs. Nous étions à 10 mn du centre ville qui était animé tous les soirs En résumé, très bon séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir. PS: un grand merci au personnel pour leurs sourires et gentillesses
