It's a lovely resort to look at but on the second day of my holiday, I ate lunch at the Level pool - this was a 5 Star, all inclusive holiday and within an hour of eating lunch, I was feeling violently ill. I spent the next 24 hours with vomiting, Diarrhoea, fever, chills, nausea etc. and then went to see the on-site Dr. I spent 4 hours on a drip, and was discharged with medication for 3 further days The next few days, Thursday 13th to Saturday 15th, I was still under the weather, nausea and unable to eat properly, Sunday 16th, I still couldn't eat but felt a little better. I returned home on the 17th March but took another bad turn on the plan - essentially felt faint (did not faint) and and overheated, the air stewards gave me water and looked after me - the hotel assured me they had no other people sick, the air stewardess on my flight said there were three others that were sick - from the Melia Dunas! So they lied to me, would not apologise - said I could have left the resort, which I didn't do. My GP sent me for a battery of tests, which thankfully have come back clean - but two weeks on, I am still suffering with stomach issues. Avoid this resort at all costs!
