Wir wurden äußerst freundlich und professionell empfangen, der Empfangschef versteht sein Handwerk! Wir bekamen eine hervorragende Einführung in alles, was der Ort und die Umgebung bieten. So wünscht man sich den Empfang im Hotel. Unser Apartment befand sich im Park, leider alles in allem ein kleines bisschen feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Am ersten Morgen nach einer Regennacht waren die Fenster stark beschlagen. Die Klimaanlage war für uns nicht wirklich verständlich. Das Frühstück war tendenziell eher etwas für Menschen. Die Süßes mögen, aber in hübschen Ambiente. Eins wir einen Tag früher kamen, war das Buffet deutlich besser bestückt. Alles in allem aber ein guter Ort, um Sintra kennen zu lernen.

We had an okay stay at this property. It is well located and the main reason we chose this place was because they had free parking. The parking lot was very big for the area, but can be a little tricky to get to due to the very narrow roads in Sintra. The property itself was very big and quite beautiful, but needs some maintenance and upkeep. We were put in a room in the garden, and it was very very musty and had a strange smell. It was mostly clean but because it was in the garden, there was a lot of bugs especially in the shower. We told the staff about the smell (it was so strong we wouldn’t have been able to sleep) and they did something and it fixed it a little. Breakfast had quite the variety and was good. Overall, we would recommend this for people who want a cheaper place to stay in Sintra with free parking, but not to those who want luxury.

Quinta avec beaucoup de charme. Petit déjeuner complet. Gîte très accueillant et de bons conseils. Nous avons logé au dernier étage, grande chambre avec tout le confort. Parking inclus, à Sintra c’est un luxe. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine à cause du temps. Sintra est souvent sous le brume.

Hôtel dans un coin paisible, bien fleuri Bungalow dans la partie jardin (un peu vieillot pour certains) ou chambre dans le bâtiment principal Piscine et jacuzzi protégé Espace transat et pic nic Bon petit déjeuner Possibilité de partir à pied pour visiter les sites de Sintra et éviter les bouchons avec la voiture Parking privatif à l'arrière de l'hôtel (demander d'abord le code à la réception)

Foi uma grata surpresa nossa estadia no Quinta das Murtas. Escolhemos pelo Booking com o filtro principal de ter estacionamento, pois estavamos com carro. O hotel é um pequeno palacete e faz parte da história de Portugal- DPedro construiu para uma neta como presente de casamento. No palacete ha quartos de 3 e 4 pessoas e no terreno ha chates com 2 quartos para 2 pessoas. Fomos atendidos pelo Romulo, um excelente e simpático anfitrião que nos contou a história do lugar! Top!!!

A casa é muito gira, é uma casa antiga acho típica de Sintra, torna a experiência única. Fica muito bem situada, perto do centro, podemos deixar o carro no parque e ir á pé visitar. O pequeno almoço é bom. A cama, lençóis e almofadas super fofinhas. Muito boa experiência 🙂.

Perfect location for exploring Sintra, which is a 10 minute walk down a pretty steep hill. Car park was a huge bonus for us. We wanted to use as a base to explore Lisbon too, train station is within a 10 minute walk. The room we had was opposite the main house, it was clean and pleasant enough, just lacked comfort if you wanted to watch telly, sadly the sofa bed wasn't the greatest seat. Breakfast was good, but only available from 8.30, which we felt was a bit late. Friendly, helpful staff and lovely parrots!

Very disappointed in the Quinta das Murtas. Stay away from the garden rooms near the pool. Dirty rooms, stained walls, mold in shower and ants at the door way. A very noisy unit as you can hear everything from the next mini building. Cracked walls, broken wall molding and worse. Do not know what the inn rooms looked like. Breakfast starts at a specific time, not one minute earlier. People are lined up at door. A valid the garden rooms as you’ll be disappointed too!

Uma pousada muito gostosa! Ficamos na parte nova, onde os quartos são grandes e está tudo novinho. Não é luxuoso, mas é aconchegante. Você se sente no meio da natureza, com os pássaros cantando e as árvores ao redor do jardim da pousada. É bom para descansar e relaxar!
