Cercavo un alloggio comodo e sicuro camminando sulla Via Lauretana e quale luogo se non hotel Domus Pacis a Santa Maria degli Angeli di Assisi. Luogo eccellente, centralissimo, vicinissimo alla Basilica, con uno staff attento e disponibile. Camera di discrete dimensioni, ordinata e pulitissima con tutto l'essenziale, situata al secondo piano raggiungibile anche con uno dei numerosi ascensori. Letto comodo, buona dotazione asciugamani. La colazione compresa è varia , a buffet, anche se il caffè o il cappuccio non vengono preparati da un operatore ma da un un distributore automatico. Inoltre si può cenare nel ristorante presente nell'edificio.WiFi presente. Prezzo molto vantaggioso. Nota positiva per i camminatori : si raggiunge la stazione ferroviaria in pochi minuti . Raccomandato.

Great stay near Assisi
This is run by the Franciscans. The room was comfortable and clean, and at an affordable price. I needed a quick stay overnight, and this was perfect at a good price. There is a bus nearby to get into the heart of Assisi, and the shrine of St. Mary of the Angels is a one minute walk. Great breakfast also.

La location è una struttura magnifica e grande a due passi dalla piazza della Porziuncola, c'è il parcheggio per gli ospiti è la struttura e ben organizzata con quattro piani; il personale della reception è gentile e disponibile così come quello nel ristorante. Le camere sono ottime, letti comodi e stanza organizzata con molte prese di ricarica però ho riscontrato due problemi: il primo sono i continui rumori nel corridoio e nelle stanze che si sentono anche dopo le 21; il secondo è lo scarico del water, che non scaricava o scaricava molto poco. Il ristorante è fornito per quanto riguarda i non allergeni, io sono celiaco e ho potuto mangiare a pranzo e a cena solo uno dei tre piatti proposti tra i primi, quasi tutti tra i secondi, mentre tra tutti i dolci io potevo mangiare solo una coppetina di gelato al limone; anche la colazione è sfornita per i celiaci, non si può usare il distruibitore di bevande per la contaminazione con l'orzo e si può fare solo al bar, mentre da consumare non c'è quasi nulla, c'è solo un cestino lontano dal buffet con poche merendine senza glutine, mentre la consumazione fresca al buffet nulla. Per il prezzo è un prezzo giusto per le camere, hotel consigliato ma non molto fornito per chi mangia senza glutine.

Hotel pulito sia nelle camere che negli spazi comuni. Personale gentile e molto accogliente. Parcheggio ampio e posizione strategica adiacente la basilica di S. M. degli Angeli da cui inizia la ‘mattonata’ che guida i pellegrini alla basilica di S. Francesco ad Assisi.

Very good value large hotel close to Assisi station. I had an ensuite single bedroom, which was overall good. Just a few small problems - it was a little bit cold, there was an intermittent flashing light on the ceiling, and soundproofing to the corridor was not great. Breakfast had allocated seating and only one coffee machine, but it was quite good for the price.
