My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and very excited to visit Santa Fe and especially this hotel. However, upon arrival it all changed. At check-in, the attendant asked us if we had reservation and asked that we physically show him. I had just talked to him a couple hours before and told him we would be arriving later. Then, he told us the bar and restaurant closed in 30 minutes. After we finished the interrogation and made our way to the bar, the bartender forgot to say hello but abruptly told us that if we wanted any food. We had 3 minutes. However, he had no problem waiting on a group that came in later than us. The following morning, I decided to give them another try. I went to the bar to order 2 mimosas and after a long wait, they again told me the service was for guests. The next night George took care of us. He was so pleasant. However, we are the charcuterie board. It came on a huge platter but only had 5 crackers and no bread. There was only 3 pieces of cheese and majority was filler items. We asked for more crackers and expressed our concern to George. He brought us some bread. The entire staff should be trained to act professional like him!!!! However, when I left the bar to use the restroom, I was followed and told this area was only for hotel guests. There was nothing special about this hotel that charged us over a 1000 per night. We were treated much better at hotels we were visiting. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I stayed for two nights. The room was extremely comfortable and well-equipped. Elegant (but pricey!) mini-bar, coffee maker, fridge, good tv, chargers in the bedside tables, WiFi speaker, digital scale in bathroom, free snacks and bottled water, room humidifier. The staff were friendly and attentive. Turndown service, humidifier filled and turned on, ice bucket filled, local fresh baked cookies on the pillow, gas fireplace in room. There is also a fabulous library and sitting room off the lobby. It’s expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Beautiful hotel with great rooms and staff. We loved our deluxe room with fireplace -- very chic but also cozy. The staff was great, from valets to housekeeping. Location is excellent -- just off the plaza, but on a quiet street, so we didn't have to deal with crowds and noise. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again the next time we are in Santa Fe.

The rooms here are beautiful and the location is great. But the service is not Rosewood standard. With only 58 rooms, and a very small lobby, one would expect personal service, and you’d expect that the front desk would look up and greet you with at least a smile when you walk by. But, here, the front desk agents just poke their heads down and won’t look up. There is no “hello” or “good evening” or “welcome back” and they certainly don’t greet you by name. The dining room has no service whatsoever and there is no manager present. At breakfast there is only one server on the floor who acts as both the host and the waiter. The service at dinner was absent and there was no manager to complain to. I complained to the front desk, but there was no follow up or apology and no attempt at recovery. There is no concierge, and the only personal service here was from the valet (who should be awarded their best employee because he’s the only one to say “hello”). Booked through Amex FHR, but no offer to upgrade because their computer was down, and there was no thought to call room operations. The “free” Amex FHR breakfast is a credit limited to $60, which I’ve never seen in any other FHR hotel, and is just cheap in a hotel of this caliber. No FHR amenity other than the free margarita coins (which is also given to every other guest) and which the bartender rudely asked me if I wanted to “cash in.” The bicycles have no gears to make them easier or harder to pedal, so you can’t really enjoy a ride uphill. There is no pool or resort amenities, so not sure what the $50 “resort fee” is charged for other than valet parking and “free” packaged snacks in the room. Again, beautiful room in a great location, but don’t expect the same service as at the Carlyle or the Crillon or the Mansion on Turtle Creek. It might be better re-branded as a JW or a Sofitel, but not a Rosewood which conjures certain expectations.

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Rosewood Inn, and it was an overall wonderful experience. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making our stay feel truly special. The standout feature for us was the restaurant’s mini courtyard a hidden gem where we found ourselves returning again and again. It was the perfect spot to people-watch and savor the delicious bison carpaccio, a dish we couldn’t get enough of! The rooms were small but cozy, offering a comfortable retreat. While the bathrooms didn’t quite meet my expectations, the overall atmosphere and service more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a charming getaway with exceptional hospitality and a delightful dining experience,

Lovely property, located a short couple of blocks from the square and shopping. The building is old, so the rooms are small. The "junior suite" was a below average size regular room with two chairs wedged between the bed and fireplace. That said, the property is in very good condition, and the restaurant is excellent.

Hopefully the new Executive Chef,Cristian Pontiggia, who is an excellent choice, will have an influence on the bar. The margaritas were the worst I have tasted in New Mexico and the bar food was poorly served. No fork for the Bison carpaccio, and it was not served with my wife's lobster rolls. We ordered individually and did not expect to share. The chicken pastor was poorly spiced and just not what one would expect in any Santa Fe restaurant. We will not be back until we see what Chef Pontiggia can do with this place. Until his influence takes hold, I recommend going to Joe's or the Dragon bar for real margaritas and properly spiced food.
