Hotel St Francis

We had a nice stay at the St. Francis and would not hesitate to return. It is centrally located in downtown Santa Fe, within an easy walk of all the major museums and other attractions. A word of warning is that cigarette smoking must have been allowed at some point in the recent past, as the first room we were given had that unmistakable aroma... We asked for a different room and were immediately given a new room which was larger and better appointed than the first one, with no extra charge. A nice touch was coffee in the lobby in the early morning, which was much better than the in-room Keurig option. This hotel has limited amenities - no fitness center, no breakfast - but as a guest here you have access to two nearby sister properties, the Eldorado and the Inn and Spa at Loretto, both of which have what's missing here. But I did not miss either of those things, as a visit to Santa Fe involves plenty of exercise since you walk everywhere, and there are great breakfast joints within a short walk. The staff was really friendly and eager to please. We did not get a chance to try the hotel restaurant but we did get to the bar (Secreto), which was comfortable and has a great drinks menu.

The hotel is walkable to downtown Santa Fe - it is in a great location. The rooms were all different, but comfortable. It definitely felt like an experience to stay there.

This is a MUST STAY Hotel….From its Beauty & Architecture to the kindest, most welcoming, and most helpful Staff, from the most relaxing Rooms to the breathtaking Views, Hotel St. Francis is honestly one of the BEST Hotels (if not the best) in which my Husband and I have stayed. I often suffer from anxiety when I travel, but HUGE, HUGE BLESSINGS—at Hotel St. Francis, I had the most PEACEFUL stay ever! And we are in walking distance to sooo many AMAZING places. I cannot recommend this Hotel enough….In fact, before we left, my Husband and I made reservations to return. Till we meet again, Hotel St. Francis! Thank you for such a beautiful vacation!
