We had a very good time at Hoyohoy. The staff were friendly, the room was kept clean, the pool was beautiful and well-kept. Food was delicious at the resort, but somewhat expensive. The bar was not well-stocked, either. In the 9 days we stayed, there were only 2 other villas who were occupied for one night each which was nice but also made it very quiet. The town area is within walking distance, but tricycles and motorbikes are available for rent. Easy to walk to town and back. 😊A lovely place to stay. ❤️

It’s truly a paradise here. More than I ever expected the experience to be. Nice staff, excellent food and a very quiet atmosphere. Rooms were amazing and has hot running water for bathing or showering. Sea is very close and has beautiful beaches.

The place was the worst place ive been to in 20 Years. It looked abandoned. No water for hours . A/C didn't cool the villa. No food or drink available even though charged for same. The pool was an algea color green. The grounds nor the beach were sweep. After we got our key the only staff lady left
We left the next morning.
The property looked abandoned in the morning. We arrived about 8 pm. Even then it looked scary. Worse in tbe light.
It should not be on any travel service. A refund was refused even after all the complaints
The one lady that took our key when we left said she understood our reasons for leaving

The property is well thought out and designed. Just that some glass panels have spaces for bugs to get in. The staff was marvelous and very accommodating. The air conditioning unit was plenty strong in our room and comfortable. The beach is too close to the Ferry landing and debris from it is frequent along the beach. It was secluded and you have very good privacy. Some re touching and remodeling will make it shine again, for this I am sure.

Awful place
Air conditioner didnt cool the room. The room was full of mosquitoes, . The pool had not been cleaned. The grounds needed landscaping. There was trash down by the beach. The water was not accessible from the property, so really no private beach as advertised. They swept the road, but left trash everywhere else on the property.

Staff was nice. Showerhead in the assigned room was broken so just opted to downgrade stay in any available room.
Needs more maintainance on all amenities. Too pricey for the experience

Not even close to what it is advertised. Big need for renovation and repair. Grounds are not clean or kept. Beach is filthy and Cannot even be used. Pool is filthy and probably has not been cleaned in months. Staff not friendly. The restaurant has about a quarter of what’s on the menu. Again no upkeep, rooms are filthy, grounds are filthy, beach is filthy. I could’ve got a room at a five-star hotel for what this cost. All meals, beach, and activities have to be off property.
