Hotel in a great location, quiet and with a splendid sea view. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms, although not brand new, are clean and functional. A pleasant stay in a relaxing context.

The ladies at the front desk and the gentleman who takes the suitcases and brings them to the room – what great service and how helpful and kind they all are. This week, we returned to this hotel for the second time because it is by far the best hotel in Ibiza, with the most beautiful view and the friendliest service.

A perfectly acceptable holiday RUINED by theft from our room, followed by questionable responses from hotel team (experienced as delaying procedures), and THE RETURN OF THE STOLEN ITEM TO OUR ROOM OVERNIGHT WHILST WE SLEPT. I have a full Guardia Civil Report, detailing the theft. I have contemporaneous notes from all my engagements with hotel team. I have a five page written report of every event. I have video footage of the ease with which someone could enter our room without a keycard. I have a sworn Affidavit clarifying how the item came back into my possession. All of the above documents are now in the hands of the Guardia Civil. The hotel produced a schedule of when keycards had been used to enter the room. This, they offered, as 'evidence' that no illegal entry had taken place. Of course, the schedule in question does not show the number of times the door was opened. (See ease with which someone could break into the room). Interestingly, having waited for agreed action by hotel until the last full day, the offer of which was then withdrawn, I went to the Police. I did not inform the hotel of this. I informed the Tour Operator. Magically, the item was returned to our room. The Tour Operator confirm this belongs in the hands of the Local Authorities. Overwhelmingly, I remain utterly horrified that someone was alerted to my report to the Police and vulnerable to the criminal behaviour; indeed the criminal themselves who entered the room of sleeping guests to rectify this 'problem'. I guess those actions left the hotel in a more secure position.

Spent a brilliant 5 nights here on a girls holiday, sharing a twin room. The whole hotel is spotless, staff are friendly with extra special mentions for Dari and Mati. We enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast with fresh ground coffee every morning followed by a yoga lesson mid morning. Our room had a great view of the sea, pool and surrounding hills from the fourth floor. It’s true you do get noise from the pool from those enjoying a late night drink, chat and game of cards. I would recommend either joining them or brining ear plugs if this is going to disturb you. We heard nothing from the marina. We loved the location, just a short walk to restaurants, bars and bus stops, but far away enough to be out of the crowds. We will be coming back!

Always wanted to stay here for many years when it was a gold hotel. Finally went as could see it had had a refurbishment. It has been done on a shoestring!! Some floors not yet completed. We had a dated room, but it was very clean and although still had a bath with shower over it was a decent size. Was on 5th floor overlooking Royal Ses Estaques which is a Catalonia Hotel but completely separate. Air conditioning was really good. Bad smell on and off during 7 days obviously from sewerage. Restaurant is laid out well but not enough staff clearing tables and taking drink orders of a night. Food was ok but not much choice, and they dont seem to replenish. All the meat we had was fine, but had pork a good few times in a week. Good location near edge of town. Sunbed situation - had a letter left in room about reserving sunbeds but it was still going on as usual. Our patio door did not really lock properly and when it was windy one night it rattled really bad. These doors look really old and none have been replaced. Was really looking forward to staying here and was a little disappointed. Would we go back? Afraid not Ibiza has gone so expensive.

Wanted a quiet hotel for a short break and that's what we got! Rooms are small and dated but spotlessly clean. Didn't spend too much time in them so not a real problem. Good options for breakfast, bit slow to replenish pastries/sweet items but plenty of other items to choose from. Dinner was mixed but could always find something to eat. Some really tasty dishes and some not so good. Food from pool bar was good, but cut-off time at 3.30pm caught us out. Found bar staff lovely for the most part. Entertainment team did their very best to include everyone. I enjoyed watching the aqua aerobics, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and it looked fun. Quiz night was also fun - great to sit outside in the warm evening with a cold drink, being entertained by Dani! Like others mentioned, getting a sun bed around the pool was a struggle. Manager tried to remove towels on empty beds but honestly, it was a half hearted effort, leading to some beds being empty until late afternoon. Nice quiet areas at front of hotel to sit and read a book, avoiding the full sun. Would agree with previous comments, hotel is a good 3 star but not a 4 star. Nice 5 min walk into harbour area for a different scene. Some really nice bars but very expensive! Food was ok but not good value! Went into town area and followed the locals to really good tapas bars. They had decent food at decent prices. Ring ‘O’ Bells pub showed all the sports including GAA, Lions rugby and women's football! Wouldn't return to the area, but that isn't a reflection on the hotel. We got what we wanted for 7 days. Area far too expensive for what you get.

Just got back from a short stay (4 nights) at this generally very appealing and picturesque hotel. Pros: pristine communal areas, friendly staff, lovely food at the pool bar, equally lovely food at the restaurant (cannot understand any lukewarm views about evening meals - in 4 days we had a choice of perfectly cooked whole salmon, fillet of beef, lasagne, vegetarian cannelloni, fried chicken, salmon steaks and cod, a chilli, beautiful beef stroganoff, chicken and mushrooms in wine and even tikka masala - not to mention lovely salad ingredients and salad dressings - what exactly do people want/expect?) and a jolly atmosphere. Our room, though dated and without a pool view, was perfectly air-conditioned with comfy beds and a decent bath and shower. The animation team, Mati and Dari, provided really enjoyable yoga and aqua aerobics classes with warmth, enthusiasm and humour. The evening entertainment was good and Dave Vincent played some great tunes especially on the Saturday night. Cons: we discovered a huge cockroach in our room on the first night as our room had evidently not been occupied recently - fairly terrifying but we dealt with it. This also meant the electrics hadn’t been checked and switching on the kettle blew the electricity when we arrived. The hotel dealt with that quite quickly and the electrician was good and knew what he was doing. We also gave into booking a couple of sunbeds on the last day of our stay because frankly, there was absolutely no choice. Such a shame, so annoyingly unnecessary but the booking beds at 7am culture is well established and not managed with any grit by the hotel. We had no such issues with sunbed hogs when we stayed at the Gruphotel last year. Sort it out, guys!!
