I stayed here with family and the big thing for us was that we could bring our cats (for a fee). Most places don't accept cats so this was a godsend. The owner and staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The room clean. Water pressure is strong, but the shower takes a little time to warm up. It was nice and cozy even in the off-season, while raining. Oh, did I mention the pool? The pool is nice and warm ☺️.

Friendly staff, good food, and very nice grounds with lots of things to keep you busy. You don’t need to leave to have fun. It is within walking distance to good food and grocery stores. If you want to explore, taxis are very cheap and easy to catch. I highly recommend this place.

The beds were large and comfortable and the pool was awesome for my kids after the long excursions. However, I am glad we only stayed 2 days because the toilet in our bathroom did not flush and, despite telling the front desk about it (and them telling us someone would fix it), no one ever addressed the issue—we left with the same clump of toilet paper sitting in the toilet that was there from the first day we arrived. Luckily, there is a washroom off the pool area and in the lobby; however, if you know your toilets are on the fritz, maybe don’t book guests until it is fixed. Also of note, some of the other guests were very loud and inconsiderate, which I do not blame on the facility; however, if the walls and doors had better insulation, maybe the noise would’ve been at least somewhat reduced. Overall, I would not stay here again because the only thing that blew us away was the pool.

What a wonderful stay. My husband stayed overnight for our anniversary. They were able to accommodate my disability with a ground floor room with a king size bed. The pool was so refreshing. We spent the afternoon lounging by the pool with wonderful umbrellas for shade. Everyone from reception to housekeeping to bartender was first class. Dinner at the Aguada was superb. Everything was so clean and welcoming. We’re already discussing going back in a few months.

The stay was good besides I had to fix the shower head myself cause water wasn't coming through when I went to bath and the bedside lamp wasn't working, but the food was excellent and the room was clean and nice me and my wife enjoyed the pool also overall the stay was good I plan to go back soon..the staff was great..

Al jaren reis ervaring, vele hotels bezocht maar dit was de meest bizarre hotel ever. Ben altijd van het positieve maar deze keer kon ik die niet vinden. Schimmel op de plafonds, in de kamer stonden twee bedden, kakkerlak op de kamer, stinken, slechte airco waar 5mm stof op de lamellen zat. Het interesseerde de eigenaar helemaal niks. Er zullen best goede kamers zijn maar die ik gezien heb waren vies, stonken naar de schimmel en zijn niet hygiënisch veilig voor Europese toeristen. We zijn weer uitgecheckt en naar een ander hotel gegaan, perfect hotel. Als dit hotel denkt mee te kunnen doen in de ontwikkeling van toerisme in Belize dan slaan ze de plank mis.

My stay here was very disappointing, room was dirty barley cleaned, there is something about the shower/drain/Toilet that gives off the most foul smell when in use, and the 5 inch gap on the restroom door doesn't help makes the whole room smell. The air conditioner was not the best the not sure why they would install an air condition with the type of windows they have lets all the cold air out, on top of that i couldn't even change the temp to coldest because the vile was broken. The room door had gaps from the top and bottom causing mosquitos to be in the room during my entire stay. i stuffed plastic bags in the gaps to keep the mosquitos out. The staff was friendly but not very helpful with anything, i asked for towels since only 4 (2 big, 2 small) are in the room they were terribly stained, when i asked for more there will be a charge of $15 which is absolutely ridiculous for a hotel to do. never in my life have i ever paid to use hotel towels. The kicker is they didn't even have towels to give me and the best excuse was them blaming guests taking towels to the other location. Wouldn't get food or drinks from here to overpriced for simple food, Bar is limited n overpriced also the music they played was sad 2000 Adele n Bruno songs. Alot has changed,10yrs ago this place was popping with business and better menu, Beautiful Property, Not for people looking for a party vibe resort.
